Welcome to the VGChartz Gap charts. These charts are updated monthly and each article focuses on a different gap chart. The charts include comparisons between the 7th generation and 8th generation platforms, as well as comparisons within the 8th generation. All sales are worldwide, unless otherwise stated.

Xbox One Vs. Xbox 360 Global:

Gap change in latest month: 47,825 – XOne

Gap change over last 12 months: 1,924,177 – XOne

Total Lead: 2,851,991 - XOne

Xbox One Total Sales: 13,564,966

Xbox 360 Total Sales: 10,665,150

July 2015 is the 21st month of Xbox One availability and the gap increased during the month when compared to the Xbox 360’s 21st month on sale by 47,825 units in favor of the Xbox One. The Xbox One currently leads by a total of 1.92 million units.

Both consoles launched in November. The Xbox 360 launched in November 2005, while the Xbox One launched in November 2013. The Xbox One has sold 13.56 million units in its first 21 months, while its predecessor the Xbox 360 sold 10.67 million units. ________________________________________________________________________________________

Still going strong compared to the lat gen, PS4 is still making it look bad even though it is not at all.
