Looking at the total sales of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U in July shows how much the PlayStation 4 continues to dominate in Europe. It has sold more than the Xbox One and Wii U combined and now has a 62 percent market share.
The PS4 has sold 9.69 million units lifetime, the Xbox One 3.57 million units, and the Wii U 2.36 million units.
PlayStation 4 Total Sales: 9,689,385
Xbox One Total Sales: 3,571,864
Wii U Total Sales: 2,362,776
The PlayStation 4 has outsold both the Xbox One and Wii U every month since it launched in November 2013. The Xbox One outsold the Wii U in June for the 12th straight month. The PS4 outsold the Xbox One by 152,534 units for the month and the Wii U by 182,316. The Xbox One outsold the Wii U by 29,782 units.
When you compare monthly sales to a year ago the Xbox One is up, while the PlayStation 4 and Wii U are down. The PlayStation 4 is down 29,542 units, the Xbox One is up 16,582 units, and the Wii U is down 29,384 units.
