Welcome to the latest edition of the ‘PS4 vs Xbox One vs Wii U Europe’ article series. This series compares monthly and lifetime sales of the 8th generation of home consoles - the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U.
Looking at the total sales of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U in April shows how much the PlayStation 4 has dominated in Europe. It has sold more than the Xbox One and Wii U combined.
The PS4 has sold 8.75 million units lifetime, the Xbox One 3.29 million units, and the Wii U 2.26 million units.
PlayStation 4 Total Sales: 8,752,414
Xbox One Total Sales: 3,286,608
Wii U Total Sales: 2,258,129
The PlayStation 4 has outsold both the Xbox One and Wii U every month since it launched in November 2013. The Xbox One outsold the Wii U in April for the eighth straight month. The PS4 outsold the Xbox One by 202,175 units for the month, and the Wii U by 262,922. The Xbox One outsold the Wii U by 60,747 units.
When you compare monthly sales to a year ago all three consoles are up. The PlayStation 4 is up 75,022 units, the Xbox One is up 37,969 units, and the Wii U is up 3,643 units.
PlayStation 4 Monthly Sales: 297,156
Xbox One Monthly Sales: 94,981
Wii U Monthly Sales: 34,234

Sad state for MS and Nintendo in Europe.
Lately these comparisons and articles are becoming stale. Both the game and console articles. It would be, in my opinion, have much more value if we can relate with the previous gen for comparisons while you guys also adding a bit of market research in regards of the numbers.
For gamereleases comparing with the previous installments provides better insight. You guys used to do that 2-3 years ago but not anymore. Similar games from the same timeframe could also be thrown in for new franchises.
It's just some feedback :)

Why do you keep blurbing the same phrases over and over, you do this on threads and articles, it's like all you ever do and you're getting downvoted ebcause of it adding nothing and trying to rub it in the faces of others.
