Sony have confirmed sold 18.5 million.
Considering that PS4 was at 13.5m ship and 12m sold by end of sep, it was 1.5m in magazine, so, minimum is at 19m by end of December.
XBO usually have 800,000 in magazine, but 1.5m-2m by October-November, see reasonable think that now MS have 1m in magazine.
In short: XBO is massive overtracked. maybe XBO is at 9.5-10 million sold.
Simple maths say XB1 is 500-1000k overtracked, neither console sold out this year and there were few shortages. 1.5 mil in the supply chain combined is very reasonable
I see that as a rough estimate based on the information that Xbox "almost shipped 10 million" before Christmas and PS4 having sold 18.5 million before CES. I don't think they get any console sales.
As we all know, PS4 numbers are confirmed. Then is easy too see that XBone is overtracked by vgchartz! But we also knew that...
XBOX ONE is overtracked. Even if you replace nearly with exactly 30 million, and subtract 18.5 million, you are left with 11.5 million. There is no way between PS4 and Xbox One that only 500k were on shelves at the end of the year. More than likely the Xbox One is at least 250k overtracked
