Destiny Helps Triple PlayStation 4 Sales in September - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 17 October 2014 / 10,764 Views

PlayStation 4 sales exploded in September in the US to its biggest month in 2014. The growth in sale was due to the release of Destiny. PS4 sales nearly tripled when compared to August.

"Destiny broke PlayStation Network sales records across several categories, taking the top spot for pre-orders, day one sales, and week one sales," Sony stated. "One month after the game's launch, engagement among PlayStation fans continues to soar, as Destiny is the most-played title on the PlayStation 4 system with 125 million hours of gameplay."

While no figure was provided it was announced that the PlayStation 4 was the top selling console in the US in September. That is the 9th straight month the PS4 was the bestselling console.

I think the specialized press instead of reporting the Pachter crap should interview him asking how the hell he manages to be so wrong so many times.

Well it was a good game advertised a bit too well, but the PS4 is still a wonderful console, so even if you don't like destiny The PS4 still a pretty good purchase. If you think it isn't you're just to picky or have unreasonable expectations. Xbox one will lead in thy end though because we should've faith in Pachter after all.
