The true successor to The Legend of Zelda (1987)

Players are Immersed in a new world where one must learn how to use what is available to them to survive.  Along the way a story is told where riddles, puzzles, and countless little oddities are wrapped together to give players a full range of control over just how they want to progress.  This freedom makes it very attractive for anyone to pick up the game and play it at any level they feel like.  Ambient sounds slowly trickle together in this world of exploration and adventure.  I played this game straight for 3 months never wanting it to end but ultimately my curiosity took me to face the final boss.  Thankfully after this successful "completion" one is still allowed to carry on where they left off and discover any other things they may not have completed yet.  I can't recommend this game enough for any Wii U owner.

It did pass Twilight Princess on GC in the end!

Mmm ... I think it probably has already surpassed TP's on GC if you add Digital sales.

Down to less than 1k units per week. It still has a second christmas so 1.5M lifetime could be achievable but I dont think it will beat TP for GameCube.

Over 5 million now according to Nintendo (Switch ver 3.92 + Wii U ver 1.08), and those numbers for Wii U are old as well. So above 5 million. :)

Would not have expected it to reach 1 million, at least this fast, on the Wii U. I suppose not everyone is on board to spend $300+ for a Switch, can't find one, or felt they were owed a new Zelda game on the Wii U.
