Killzone 2 is the sequel to both Killzone liberation and killzone on the playstation portable, and playstation 2 platforms. With a tremendous amount of hype and a CGI trailer that has been talked about for years, has sony finally brought us a true AAA shooter for the Playstation ?

Graphics

You have to start off with graphics, Killzone 2  was poised to be one of the most realistic war experiences,as seen from the infamous killzone trailer which seemed impossible to replicate. Now with the full retail game out, its safe to say Killzone 2 did reach the level it was aiming to achieve graphicly. With stunning environments, and amazing effects, killzone 2 can be considered the best looking game on the playstation 3 to date (review made in april 2009).

Story

From the best of killzone to the worst of killzone, yes the worst of killzone. Killzone 2 starts off on vekta, were you an isa member known as sev are launched into space to invade the helghan planet in search of visari the leader of the helghask. Although the story line is good, it pales in comparison to other games in the series. What happened? The orignal killzone and killzone liberation had some of the best storyline seen in the systems they were released on. So yes sadly killzone 2 delivers in everything but its storyline..

Gameplay

With a lackluster story, how can the gameplay be any good? Well it is. Killzone 2 has some of the best gameplay seen in a FPS to date. This is a GAME were GRAPHICS do matter. The atmosphere in killzone 2 enhances the gameplay experience tremendously. The controls may take some time getting used too, but once mastered, it may be one of the best FPS gameplay experiences you can get on the ps3.

Multiplayer:

The multiplayer is one of the best, strictly organized and not too chaotic but as you begin to rank up, everything starts to turn into case, which can be both good and bad. There are tons of classes, such as the assault, sabatour, medic, and engineer just to name a few, without spoiling there abilities. If your looking for a multiplayer experience, killzone 2 is surely the game to get.

Length:

The singple player campaign can last a good 6-8 hours depending on the difficulty, multiplayer can last for weeks.
