Warp Points
Several different times throughout the game you can alternatively end a level in a way that will let you warp to another level further along in the game.
Unlockable How to Unlock
Worlds 2, 3, or 4 from Level 1-2 Get to the top of the screen either by being big and jumping to break blocks in the beginning of the level or using the rising platforms in the middle of the level, then continue right past the pipe to go up to win the level and you will enter a Warp Zone
World 5 from Level 4-2 Near the end of the level there is a moving platform (the third or fourth one in the level will do), use this to get on top of the screen and continue right, much like the warp secret in level 1-2 to reveal a Warp Zone with a pipe to World 5
Worlds 6, 7, or 8 from Level 4-2 To unlock this first come to the first moving platform in the level, wait until the platform is low and then jump on it and off of it in such a way to hit the first block of the 3 blocks to the right of the platform, you will unlock a vine that will take

Even though we've seen better quality games this still has to be held high as one of the best ever. It saved the North American game crash almost single handedly. That's Nintendo Power for ya though
