Cheats

Gwyn, Lord of Cinder (BOSS)
This is the last boss of the game, and he can be quite the challenge. Gwyn is relentless in his attacks and can be quite quick with them, too. He can and will, most likely, eat through your stamina rather quickly. It's always a good idea to heal, even if you know you're going to get hit with an attack, since Gwyn will not really give you a moment's rest; you can use the rocks as protection so you can heal, as well. It's a good idea to bring some fire resistance with you, as well as have some good physical resistance. As said before, Gwyn can be relentless in his attacks, although he doesn't have too many. If you're far away from him, he will jump towards you and do a large slash. When up close, he will do some sword slashes, up to 3-4 hits. Also, he will try and grab you, which results in big damage if it connects; roll backwards to avoid this. At mid-range, he will lunge forward and try to stab you with his sword; roll to the sides to try and dodge this attack. There are two very good strategies for this fight. The first involves parrying and riposting his attacks. All of his attacks can be parried, except for his grab, so make sure to dodge that one. If you have a pretty strong weapon, Gwyn can go down with like 7-8 ripostes. The other good strategy involves the Iron Flesh spell. Equip yourself with heavy armor with good fire/physical defense, cast Iron Flesh, 2-hand your weapon and just wail on Gwyn (still might want to dodge his grab). If Iron Flesh is going to run out, provoke him into using his grab, dodge it and then recast Iron Flesh (don't forget to heal!).

@Daguza - Well this did great for a port and no sales in Japan.

This game had such strong legs on a new platform, and that's amazing considering how niche the game can be sometimes. Though the Ps3 version almost double it in sales, but that's mostly thank to Japan, which doesn't help this version at all.
