The Block Defense mini-game is pretty much a tower defense game, and there are five different stages you can play on. The object is to kill all the monsters without them reaching your castle at the end of the path; if your castle's HP reaches zero, then you lose. Road to Dotnia - Old lady in Wardna's house after clearing Forest Temple Cactus Desert - Girl on right side of Candata Inn after clearing Desert Temple Klovis Volcano - Kid in front of salesman in Jim's Shack after clearing Flame Temple Wasteland Oasis - Girl next to bed in Fina's Inn after clearing Wind Temple Dark King's Garden - Soldier near entrance in Hotel Nialliv after clearing game If you clear each level, you get Gol, plus a Life Shard for clearing ALL the stages. Clear any level without taking damage to get a Small Block, and if you clear ALL of the stages without getting hit, you get the Wyrm Sword.
