yes Resident Evil had a great storyline before they introduced the mess created in RE4 and VG data shows RE Code Veronica sold 2M+ on PS2 and 1M+ on Dreamcast and no data for Gamecube (we can assume at least .5M?) so although not RE1 and RE2 sales it sold on par with RE3 RE0 and RE Remake didn't sell that great because Capcom sold out its Playstation RE fanbase I do agree with you about RE4 and RE5 being basically the same game except for co-op which everyone wants every game to have now (I don't know why...I heard someone say MGS should have co-op before) I don't understand how these hard-core RE4 fans don't like RE5 lol Message | Report |

Not really. The control scheme is horrible. At least with RE4 it had amazing atmosphere, was actually scary and made Leon look like a total bad-ass. This has none of the above. Granted I did play up to chapter 4ish on the PC version and then bought the ps3 version a few months later. Message | Report |

@st muscat you bring up a good point, however, I think much of the core(original) RE fanbase that started the series with RE1 have moved on due to Capcom changing the direction of the series, I think showing the new RE fanbase (RE4 - present) what Resident Evil was back in the day with Remakes will help Capcom reboot the series back to the glory days of Resident Evil I have tried to get people who like Resident Evil 4&5 to play the classic ones and they won't, hopefully now that the 3 classic PS1 RE's are on PSN store people will experience the true roots of survival horror and Resident Evil Message | Report |

the graphics were superb & the way the character move & aim was excellent. but there was something missing in RE5 something all the other R.E. games had. the 1 & maybe the most important thing that RE5 was missing was the scenes that made thouson of people shit there pants. everything was predictable Message | Report |

@Gearbox not sure if are bagging its sales or not, but if you are once you include the 360 version, because yeah it counts since this is a multiplatform game it has sold over 4.56 million copies. I give it 10 out of 10 and i dont play co-op. I've finished it about 30 times already playing with A.I. and she does improve. The only problem is the A.I. adds minutes to the time on each chapter compared to doing it with a real person. i'm assuming he was talking about shevas ai.All resident evils have enemies with ai that you can just run past them all.Its done like that,thats why every game has unlockable items for completing the game fast(except RE4 that didn't have any)thats just like an extra game mode added to it. lol you talk about the hydra like your the only one who has it lol Message | Report |

the ai is pretty much the exact same from res evil 4, which means you can just run past all the zombies. unless you have an infinite ammo hydra like me. then i don't mind shooting them. it's honestly not that great, it probably didn't take a long time to program, but it's fun. seriously, what kind of ai is it when you can stand on the top of a ladder and they all climb up and you cut them down with your knife until they're all dead. that's pretty intelligent right?
