Soooooooo, I was watching The Pokémon games sales and I noticed that this is the only mainline game that is classified as Action, is there any particular reason or is it just been classified wrong ? Message | Report |

Amazing game! Although I did enjoy the original more. I miss being a kid, I wasn't OCD about gaming back then, I could play Pokemon without obsessing over every little thing. Message | Report |

Unfortunately I got rid of my DS a few years back and only got another earlier this year to play White & Black, as it happens I didn't play Soul Silver or Heart Gold properly until after an entire playthrough of White, by which point my love for my 5th Gen team and many improved aspects in the 5th gen games meant I wasn't overly bothered by most the features of these games. Still the gameplay was solid and it was quite fun to relive old memories in more up to date environments and graphics Message | Report |

@newwil7l Soul Silver oustold Heart Gold pretty much everywhere. In 2009 it was SS 1,845,365/HG 1,693,870 in Japan. In the US for the first two months it was SS 1,262,900/ HG 953,800. SS was also ahead in May/June/July/August, but the only numbers we got was just for SS and just in May. In the UK SS was on top for 5 weeks, HG then took 2 weeks, and after that SS was on top every week till it stopped charting in August (HG had already dropped out of the top 40 for some time). Even if soul silver started selling zero units when it dropped out of the various charts, there is little chance Heart Gold could have caught up. Message | Report |

@enrageorange. If you haven't already noticed, this game was pure fanservice. A remake was widely requested and wanted by many People. If you think about it, they didn't have to remake Gold and Silver at all. All the Pokemon are obtainable through other means. Also, some of us, like myself, never even played gold and silver, so its great to see an updated version of the game that we can play. As for differences, this game has more content: Two regions, some additional mini-games and such, and it makes it easier to get certain pokemon. Message | Report |

what makes this game so different then emerald/pearl. I'm just asking because I find it ridiculous they are just selling a remake with the improvements of the last game and people actually want to buy it.
