The picture shown is from the Wii version LOOL. This game taught me english lol. Words like:meet timer scientists tank gun ammo runway plane jump damm cradle fate etc etc I was 10 when i first played it lol and guess what i never killed people or took a weapon to my school etc. Message | Report |

As much as I loved this game back then... time has not been kind to it. The controls of gaming on a game-pad have drastically improved for FPS games and this requires much work to re-learn... back then it was hard too but not so much since it was new.... now that I'm comfortable with two analog sticks... the game's controls are pretty bad. That being said I literally had YEARS of fun with it and I completely understand why so many crown it one of the best FPS games ever because that's how good it was then..... you had to be there. Quartz, the Klobb was accurate enough, all 20 of those rounds, it's just that it's actually more damaging to force feed someone the bullets than to shoot them from that weapon ;) Message | Report |

Heh stof, it is indeed possible with a Gameshark / Action Replay. The island at the far end was going to be used as part of the mission in earlier versions of the game. If I remember right the objective would've been to blow up some particular vehicles, and then escape by bungee jumping from the dam. It was deemed a bit too difficult to be part of the first mission though and so was removed! :) The island is still in the game and when you look closely it has a guard tower and a machine gun turret. The only sad part about Goldeneye? Every FPS since then has taken some concept from it. If you've never played Goldeneye before, it'll just feel old to you. A real shame, too. lol Dr Doak! I beaten all levels on time and got every single cheat. Invincibility WAS PAIN IN THE ARSE...had to restart over and over and over and over because of Dr. Doak lol. I still have the game right inside my drawer. I can post the screen shot of every level with the RED FONT saying how fast i beat all levels. Took me about 9-10 months with severe headaches and tearing my hair apart. Feels good to accomplish something like goldeneye. I remember playing this while at seventh grade.....i totally screwed up my report card for this game lol!!. Nothing can be compared to this gem....i cant find something more fun than this game. Only people that don't like this game are not good at it. This game started stealth and advance ai behavior. Also the collision detection when shooting a enemy is so rewarding you'd often savior victory b4 finishing an opponent. 10/10 ..... hall of fame classic... til this day this is the fps to beat .... often imitated but never duplicated. Legendary game. What makes it more impressive is how normally games based on movies suck so much arse normally. Spiderman3 etc. All of that stuff is such garbage. Generally you stay away from licensed games. But Goldeneye really bucked that trend. The only other game I can say I liked based off of a movie was Riddick on Xbox. Who cares if James Bond isn't a Nintendo character, the dudes in GTA games aren't Sony characters yet they have sold over 10 million copies each only on the PS2.
