The baseball season ended in october which explains the low sales since.

Has this not been tracked for the past 2-4months? I'm sure I saw it a 0.79million a while ago?

Game continues to sell great.

My question: Why would Sony not release this in Europe?? On the ps2, and as recent as the 2010 entry, Europe's sales for this series are often fairly close to the Americas' sales. With how popular MLB 12 has been, this series could be a 1 million seller every year with the addition of Europe. One million from this series every year seems like it could prove to be a decent profit-maker for Sony. Just my 2 cents, though.

MLB 11 only saw 500k sales. This one seems likely to reach a million, if it does well in the holidays, which Im sure it will.

Started off slow but just kept on selling. I thought this franchise was done and dusted when I saw the first few weeks of sales but it looks like it's one of those games that Baseball game fans keep on buying, just not straight away. Good to see it keeping up the momentum, and no doubt will continue through to the next gen.

Wil this game sell a million?

Next week this will pass MLB '09 to become the biggest selling of the series on the PS3. And with the rate it's still selling at, I wouldn't be surprised if it reached the numbers of the PS2 versions - slightly less than a million.

Man this game is unstopable. Will it crack a million during the holidays?

The legs for this game are incredible. 600k in the next two weeks.

Still selling very well in NA, they should get this franchise in Japan.

Wow 25k again. The legs for this game are impressive, especially considering its opening. Have the legs for past iterations been this good?

@blue7x7 This game has been selling really well on the PS3 in America. No reason to abandon the franchise. I bet the game is already profitable anyway. This game is far from a flop. Vgchartz has it way undertracked btw.

Undertrucked by a lot, again... for 2 months.
Why VGC don't adjusted it? =/

Just in comparison. MLB 2K12 sold 30K on XBOX360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC combined. MLB 12: The Show sold 31K on PS3 alone.

Great sales so far.(with the adjustments) This Game killed it's competition.(2K series) EA won't make MLB 2K13 so this game will dominate the market alone. People who call it a flop just because VGC undertracs it are idiots.

NPD says that "Mario Party 9" sell 230.000 and it's in 7°position.
MLB it's in 2°position behind RE (582.000).
But VGC track 260.000 MLB in March...

Why VGC always undertacked MLB series every year and not adjusted when NPD show the real sales? :/

I don't get why Sony keeps bothering with this series it's such a flop it's one of the reasons why sony keeps losing billions a year is because they can't wise up and stop supporting stuff that just doesn't sell they just keep pouring money and money for some reason.

They should really advertise this game as a Move game....
Saw it played on an episode of The Tester and it looks like it could be great for parties!

Actually 08 - 10 sold around 650k, and last year 450k. This will probably do around 400k, a decline but expected considering this is the 5th release of the series on the same console, not much room for improvement meaning not as many people upgrading from previous version (FIFA seems to be the exception)

Very good opening for an MLB Game. Will get to 250-500k sales lifetime like previous MLB Games.
