this is probably my second favorite game of all time behind resident evil 4 of course this is a must get if you havent played it yet its awesome. the only problem it has is that it doesnt have much of replay value beyond playing it over and over again other than that great game i hope bioshock 2 has multiplayer i can only imagine how awesome multiplayer would be in the bioshock world awesome Message | Report |

Seriously...I finished the game and obviously got the "bad ending" and started a new game seconds after I beat it. I became quickly obsessed with this game and this brand new underwater world that I had discovered. It has depth and is gloriously detailed, and the storytelling is unlike any game I've ever played. It's part shooter/part sci-fi mystery movie! Right before I bought this game I played and beat COD4 and I must say that really is a great game as well, but I've only played through and beaten COD4 once since I added it to my collection. I beat Bioshock and HAD to instantly start playing it again and wanted the "good ending" so badly, I could taste it. I have only one achievement left in the game, and that is the beat it on the hardest difficulty. So I have played through Neptune, and I have to say as long as you can tolerate multiple visits to the chamber it is not all that challenging. Using the first aid kits and eve injections is basically pointless. When you fight a big Daddy you also have to accept that your going to have to go through all of your ammo, and take at least a dozen trips to the cloner. The added difficulty is mostly cheap difficulty. Sure the danger makes you play the game somewhat different, but when you get to a point where the monster is unbeatable you have to just accept death, and work them down over repeat visits. @MontanaHatchet: The fact that this game is for now the second best ranked on the siteseems to contradict you. Great games gets great rankings from almost everybody, which explains why the top 10 looks like it is now. Supporters of a specific system and fanboys aren't able to affect greatly the ranking of the really good games. Let's just see where Bioschock will finish its run (probably out of the top 10, which is not dishonorable when you look at the top rated games) Message | Report |
