Why is the tracking on this so off? Seem to have no data on NA or Japan at all.

Should probably be at ~20 million+ considering they have 10 million+ subscribers

Raiding and RP are only things worth of spending some time on WoW. It would be very boring if there weren't all those great people around.
But on the other hand, if you play this game intensively for more than a year, maybe there is a time to pull the plug out or at least try something else?

good game, but onestly pating for everything(real money), even after i payed for the game its retarded, i prefer to play good mmorpg(free) like dekaron(2moons in good times),cabal, and others

I spent most of 2005 and 2006 raiding. It was fun but those 2 years were like empty voids lol

LOL so much hate. If you get accicted to games like this then you shouldn't be playing any computer games.

Wow's a great game.

i honestly found the game really boring. most people will admit it to...
the best part of the game is being in a guild in raiding.
ive watched my friend stay in the same spot all day and attack the same enemies... i never found that fun

emin, very few people have more than one account, you're talking about a small percentage of the population that wouldn't even show up on a pie chart it's so small. Secondly, the 11.5 million subscribers is only active subscribers, which are mostly people who play. The actually number bought is likely over 20 million. Some guy wouldn't keep paying for an account he doesn't play for no reason. Stop trolling.

emin posted 11/12/2008, 08:15
The 11 million subscribers is BS. Most hardcore players have 2 or even 3 accounts. Some even multi-box up to 15 characters at once, and even more have active subscriptions but do not play.
World of Warcraft was epic when it first came out, but the 2 expansions ruined the game for good.
The WoW addicts will hate that I am talking badly of the game they are hooked on, but once you get tired of the game after playing for months and feel like you've been robbed of your time and money, you will know what I mean..

Ok lets stop hating on the MMO wonderkid. WOW is the best MMORPG so far for hardcore and casuals alike. A ton of talents and spells for each class make each one feel unique for the most part.
This game sucks only if you don't have internet or don't like video games.

Whoever says that World of Warcraft is "boring" is totally full of shit and seriously needs to STFU and go back to playing something that's not even as big or epic or huge as this massive PC game that will be keeping you busy for a very long time to come.

This game sucks. It's boring and what's worse you have to pay $30 or so per month.

Ickalanda posted 04/09/2008, 09:37
I hope people understand that subscribers is not copies sold. Subscribers just means currently active paying subscribers so the actual number sold is probably in the 15-20 million range.
