3300 units sold in the first two weeks of 2013 shows pretty solid legs considering how much it dropped off in late August of 2012 plus it still sells at full price

it will end up selling 100k at full price, with a pricecut and a little bit of time, i could end up selling 120k max
that would be enough to cover the costs of development and manufacturing at least :P

@sethnintendo
the gunslingers explosive retreat is such a slick move to use against any enemies in a choke point, ooooo you gonna get me? nope I've hopped back and replaced myself with a bomb, enjoy! :D
Did you notice that luck of the draw move is actually a roulette wheel spinning around your feet, some really nice detail gone into this game. I really hope more people pick it up.

Almost beat the game (believe I just have the final boss fight) with the Gunslinger. It wasn't as challenging as I would like but overall I had a good time with the game. I'll probably make the other 3 characters but it would be nice if there was a little more content. I believe I almost beat the game within 8-9 hours (finished most quest except a few). It was probably the quickest 3DS game that I completed though since I am addicted to leveling up type games.

@oniyide
Ah cool that the demo went on the 3ds store, since this came out in Europe a good while before you guys got it state side we had the demo over a month ago, it caused a bit of grief on a few gaming sites, was all I had meant about the demo.

Think the genre is called dungeon crawler btw, but yeah diablo clone works fairly well for this too. definately worth a look if you like that type of game.... no new game+ options tho, once last boss is dead so is the game outside of joining other peoples games online :s

@ganoncrotch dont know where your info is coming from but the demo has been available in the US for days, i know i just played it. I'll pass, its not a bad game but i was never really into these types of Diablo (not sure what the genre is) type games. If you are into it, its solidly made looks good so i imagine that type of person would like it. it is most def NOT shovelware, cant see how anyone could think that

hope to god more people start to pick this up? I heard there still hasn't been a demo to it on the NA store but still, there is one on europe which even allows online play, more people should buy this game and show the Devs that there are people who own 3ds's that want a really good dungeon grinding rpg... okie this might not be the best in the genre but you got no hope of them localizing other games like this to the west if people don't support them.

How exactly did this game debut at 26k when it hasn't even released yet?
Could it have been confused w/ Amazing Spiderman 3DS somehow (which is nowhere to be found on the top 100 even though it came out this week. Even the DS game charted so the 3DS game must also have).

keep in mind the 10k sales are based on day one only since the game launched on the 15th and the first week sales recorded are up to the 16th. I know I got my copy anyway, great game but shocked to hear that once you reach max lvl there is kinda not much to do rather than join others games online since your single player boss's do not re spawn ever from what I've seen on the nspace forums. great lil taste of diablo portable tho. really nice infrastructure even if it isn't fully used for single player end game grinding.

dude stfu, the game is good, it has some nice features it deserves more sales, but it has no market on the 3ds userbase, they should have known that.............
200k ltd?
what a disastrous predictor are you
if it does 100k it will be considered a success

xxbrothawizxx63 posted 27/06/2012, 04:54
Anyway, the game will probably sit somewhere around 200,000 LTD this time next year (if its NA release isn't disastrous). They really need to drop that demo on the NA shop pronto....

I really can't imagine that Square was hoping for any more than 300k lifetime in their most generous predictions when considering the consistently low quality of the projects put out by N-space.

Damn.....
Well, I guess Square Enix knows that people won't buy low quality crap just because it touts a few features and fills a genre gap.
The game is shovelware at its root even if the gameplay it is based on is sound.

Same with me. Youtube videos are looking good, http://www.youtube.com/user/latest3dsgames

Hope this thing crawls to 500k, but i won't be surprised if Nintendo don't bother pushing it.
