@Lamace

Xenoblade Chronicles wasn't a flop. Nintendo had no idea what they were doing with that game, and it cost them over 1 million sales. In 2011, Xenoblade Chronicles was one of the most pirated games, and had 1 million illegal downloads. By the time it came to the states, most of the people who wanted to play it already did. Nintendo was really dumb with that release.

I still need to get Ni no Kuni, just have to convince the wife to let me get it.

Fantastic sales for a Jrpg (that isnt Final Fantasy) and still selling. Aside from a good word of mouth i imagine being deemed Greatest Hits also helped it sales a good amount. Cant wait to see these sales in a year or 2.

1M in less than a year isnt bad. Hopefully it will go on to sell a couple of million which would be pretty good for a new IP jrpg.

I think those are pretty nice sales for NA & EU. About as much as you can expect from a HD JRPG these days (similar to what Tales games sell).

If it had come the same time as the DS version in Japan, it would be creeping up to a million by now.

No ni Kuni doesn't look like an typical (modern) "Animé" J-RGP... (and doesn't have a any chick on the cover) ...

but even Xenoblade didn't reach 200K in Japan..

but I heard that No ni Kuni is selling good in the US and GB...., might take of thanx to the US & EU (like Xeno did...)

hibli and Level 5 just have to make another game... Ni no Kuni just has to sell good enough!.., this is one of the best J-RPGs on this gen, period.

(after this game, hope Nintendo will consider making Zelda U also with Cel Shading)
