It's a good game with good sales, but people who focus on the chibi character designs will be shiocked by the NES-level difficulty.

Got this game used at gamestop for about 10 dollars. Having a blast with it, though the difficulty seems to spike up every now and then, but so far it hasn't really been frustrating at all. It's actually refreshing to have a bit of a challenge.

Worth every penny. Great game. It seems to be a bit underrated IMO. I do wish you could save in the dungeons though. Aside from that, I don't have a problem with anything.

bought this yesturday, had really funny on the first lvls and spended some hours on it... never really played a FF game so will be funny

For a remake of an NES game it was actually good. Yeah there wasn't really a story, but I will say it again it is a remake of an NES game. The gameplay imo was actually more enjoyable then a few of the later FFs like FFXII, and VIII. It was just straight and simple. The music was probably the best part of the game. I would give it an 7.8, but that is excellent for an NES game.
