Oh yeah, because Microsoft invented the FPS genre, and WTF? Crash Bandicoot is a platformer, but thats where the similarities end, Mario and Crash are 2 very different platformers.

You keep telling yourself M$ is original...

@magik

Lol, you're right bro! Sony never thought of creating a platformer to compete with Mario (Crash Bandicoot) and they definitely never cared much for Nintendo's stupid analog stick, lol, and what's even funnier is that Killzone is not a rip-off of Halo. Lol at MS for being unoriginal copycats!

magik posted 15/06/2009, 12:13
LOL I laugh at how Microsoft makes a spin-off series of EVERYTHING Sony does.

Gran Turismo, MS made Forza MotorSport.

SingStar, MS made this, Lips

Waiting for an MLB series by microsoft. Honestly, wouldnt be surpirised.

This game hit 500,000+ sales. That is pretty good for a new casual IP especially on the 360. I think with steady sales like this Microsoft will continue the series!

I really hope they do.

Message | Report
matt247 posted 20/12/2008, 03:04
Bigion, are you blind? this game is meant for Europe and it's doing great. Just because the Ps3 is getting killed doesn't mean you have to start bashing every 360 game to make yourself feel better. It doesn't help, so just go back to the ps threads.

Egghead posted 20/12/2008, 02:03
Selling well, MS are in overdrive marketting this
Message | Report
bigjon posted 20/12/2008, 01:10
wtf?

why cant MS stay focused... they are trying to get all audiences at once... they need to divide and conquer....

You cant compete for the casuals against the Wii... give it up.

You cant win in Japan give up.

Wrap up NA, and make gains in Europe and you will have had a smashing victory.

2 week trend on a casual evergreen game means little. so far this looks fine for this type of game. sales pattern is typically fueled by word-of-mouth.

dreamcast210 posted 04/12/2008, 12:42
Uh-oh. The casuals are starting to buy the 360. Evidence is the appearance of legs growing on this and several other titles. It's funny how the more casual games do a slow burn and sometimes end up selling more than the hardcore titles that rack up a big sales in the first couple of weeks.

If you figure that singstar is a direct ripoff of karaoke, then lips is a karaoke rip off too. but karaoke doesn't have the mini-games you can play with your own music. i find the freestyle mode with your own printed lyrics work fine. be better with onscreen lyrics but (sigh).

ebugogo posted 01/12/2008, 11:02
it's awesome. been surprised by a couple of the reviews. the scoring system is actually better than singstars which cheats by having 3 different levels of difficulty - lips made it all work with a single difficulty. hope ms hangs in there.
