Still selling over 5k/week. This game will easily reach 2 million at some point.

@Onna

I think it's because the Wii is the Lego series premiere system. The Wii utterly trumps the HD consoles in terms of raw sales from Lego Starwars to Lego Batman. The only reason why the 360 has more numbers is because of the FREE bundled game on the 360 hardware!!!!

11ht11- yea it does but it's not looking that way unfortunately. E/O numbers have not been steadily going up like I thought they would and American increases won't be enough. It still has a chance and Wii software always seems to surprise me so we'll see.

it sold 30k with these weeks numbers

so do you think it has a chance to sell 50k?

Yea it sold about 40,000 this week which means in 2 weeks it should probably make it with some increases. My End of the week Dec 13 prediction seems to be spot on.

Not as great looking as the PS3 version, I've got them both. Even the PS3 version on lowest progressive scan looks better.

Well still doing 20k while Lego Batman is out and with the release of the movie on DVD that ought to help it regain some brand for holidays. AS long as its going like this into holidays it'll go platinum easily.

Still going strong. And as long as Lego Batman doesn't effect sales(which is doubtful considering this didn't hurt Lego Star Wars) this game will make it strongly to holiday season with over 800k and easily go up from there. Fun game so glad to see it go over.

I think the Holiday sales will boost it significantly. Maybe to 1 mil.

Im not sure if Indiana Jones is the same way, but part of the fun of Lego Star Wars was collecting everything. There was definitely 50+ hours in that game if you wanted to beat the game 100%

Guaranteed million seller right here. Has a very good chance of outselling its brethren.

I don't think this game is too short. The original Lego Star Wars I finished in 5 hours. I'm sig hours into this game and still have half the levels to go.

160k opening week worldwide. Not bad at all. But as Lego Star Wars games have proved legs for these games is the real selling point. Probably another 100k week for the Wii version worldwide in Week 2.

MontanaHatchet posted 10/06/2008, 09:17
It has a good chance to be a million seller. The only concern is that its sales are most likely tied to the hype for the new Indiana Jones movie. If the movie continues to do well, and this game has a strong American debut, it's very possible.

The game is fun, but I have two complaints: one, it's much shorter than Lego Star Wars (though that was a given with only half the source material, and the levels are admittedly far deeper than any LSW level), and the programming oversights and occasional glitches are annoying. I keep finding myself having to purposely select certain character types in various levels to get the skills I need to unearth treasures.

That aside, it's a great game. Well worth the purchase.
