And well, Rockstar has become a kind of brand for those kinds of gamers that KNOW they will get their money's worth of entertainment from their games. I think rockstar games appeal top those gamers that will FOR SURE buy a rockstar game, but even though they may also love GOW or something else for example, they will not buy it because they are selective on games they buy. Rockstar has established themselves with many casual gamers that don't buy a lot of games but buy will most likely 100% buy any rockstar game. That's what I believe and I think it's evident in the sales. Heck, no other open world games besides like Skyrim or Fallout sell on the level of GTA or RDR. Message \| Report

So the term casual may be correct in the sense that these people don't play a lot now, but they very well could have been avid gamers before. But yeah, if those type of gamers lived off GTA III and on, it'd make sense for them to get these experience packed open world blockbusters. Message \| Report

And if they buy one game, it has to be a rockstar one lol. It's like these are the gamers that don't finish these games but enjoy just randomly goofing around in the endless world at offer.
