Undertracked by 8k in the US which is weird considering it's a jrpg.

Well this game bombed hard and this explains why Square-Enix cancelled FF Type-0 HD on Vita.

Vgchartz needs to get their facts straight. This is very undertracked. http://www.siliconera.com/2014/01/13/closer-look-final-fantasy-xx-2-hd-remasters-sales/
Media Create official sales has already shown how much this has sold in Japan and yet Vgchartz still won't change their inaccurate numbers.

@Dadrik and Kresnik - I'm not sure, FFX is certainly a big game with a big following, but the Persona fanbase is something else - they really obsess over the game and do a great job of selling it even to people who aren't keen on JRPGs. I expect it to be close, but P4G will probably win (but then it's an exclusive, so it probably should do anyway)
Dadrik (on 09 April 2014)
Kresnik, I don't know if it will, but it definitely could !
Kresnik (on 01 April 2014)
I wonder if this will beat the sales of Persona 4 Golden lifetime. I fear it came out far too late in the west to be able to push the numbers P4G did, though I guess it depends on legs.
Kresnik (on 27 March 2014)
I wonder why the hell they did ignore the other SKU's. Such an odd decision. Normally they do it for games that chart really low which they can't be bothered to put into the DB, but FFX HD standalone charted and we got given an accurate figure for it, but nothing.
Kongfucius (on 23 March 2014)
@Kowen - I'm not so sure, if you look in the summary page it only says FFX / X-2 Remaster, and Vgc is usually quite good at listing all SKUs like GOTY editions for example, plus the 151k figure matches up almost perfectly with the FW for the Twin Pack on Famitsu / MC. I think the tracking is accurate but the SKUs have been left out for some reason.
Kowan (on 03 March 2014)
@Kongfucius. It might be even more than 300k by now. The problem is vgchartz actually counts all those SKUs in their numbers and yet they seem to be confident it's sold less when media create and famitsu numbers apparently says so otherwise.
Kongfucius (on 22 February 2014)
Just for reference this has sold at least 290k when you add in digital and the standalone FFX and X-2 SKUs, which is pretty much parity with the PS3 version. Won't last once it comes out in the west, but I just though I'd point it out...
Kowan (on 07 January 2014)
This is undertracked. Is it really that hard to see the official numbers showing 134k for the twin pack + 22k for FFX and around >13k for ffx-2? I guess adding those would equal 151k huh? Nice math VGChartz.

Very good first week!lets hope it continues this pace.
