Anfebious (on 05 August 2014)
@fedfed I don't now if you still check this comment section but I'll post anyway. I am currently playing the game and so far it's very good. If you like Kirby I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it too.
ExplodingBlock (on 07 July 2014)
Europe why you hate kirby
fedfed (on 25 June 2014)

Undertracked by 60k in the US according to NPD. Needs some adjustment.
ExplodingBlock (on 15 June 2014)
Hmmm MK8 and Watch Dogs had an impact on sales, maybe 1m by end of June of middle of July!
ExplodingBlock (on 08 June 2014)
Will do 1m by early or mid june
NintendoSupporter (on 23 May 2014)
@Screamapillar Yep, that's my story. I haven't gotten this game yet, but do plan on getting it later this year.
Screamapillar (on 23 May 2014)
I don't think the time of the year really matters for some of these games. Just look at Dark Moon. That game still sells even more than a year after release. I remember it being sold out all the time at shops in my area over the holidays last year. I think really all Nintendo has to do is bundle it, and do some advertising in the fall and then sales will ramp up for the game over the holidays. All the people who missed it's launch this May, maybe because they weren't looking for a 3DS game, will definitely notice it this fall.
NintendoPie (on 22 May 2014)
Not being released during the holiday season is most likely a large factor as to why this one is underperforming, like you said. Pretty much every Kirby game released sometime around the holidays, so I guess it's not too bad.
JWeinCom (on 18 May 2014)
@Npie

The opening week was basically the same as Squeak Squad, and higher than Canvas Curse or Mass Attack. All of those games had very good legs, so I don't expect this to be different. It probably won't sell as well as Squeak Squad due to digital sales, and the fact that it's not a holiday release, but it still should hit around 500K, which would take overall sales past a million.
NintendoPie (on 15 May 2014)
Those are some nice legs in the US when compared to it's opening week. I'm not sure how it stacks up against other Kirby titles specifically, but I doubt it outshines any of them.
Salnax (on 15 May 2014)
Great legs in America! This should easily sell in the 300,000 to 500,000 range in America this year!

Europe hates Kirby, so they won't help much. Maybe 100,000 sales in 2014 if the Wii game was a sign of change. Still, this can easily be a million-seller by the end of 2014.
Anfebious (on 15 May 2014)
This game is awesome! I think it can do 1M easily!
DarkRPGamer007 (on 14 May 2014)
This game is striving in Japan but bombed in the U.S. Only 55,000 first two days? Ouch! Has America moved on from 3DS so fast?
bsp77 (on 12 May 2014)
Yoshi also came out on a Friday with slighter higher numbers, so I still say that Kirby's opening was softer than hoped for. Kirby is typically a pretty strong seller, but Yoshi's US numbers to date are only so so.
TheLegendaryWolf (on 11 May 2014)
Good sales in the US considering it is just 1 day of sales.
ExplodingBlock (on 10 May 2014)
Ignore that comment below I'm dumb :/
ExplodingBlock (on 10 May 2014)
So of this sold 50,000+ in US on it's first week does that make this a million seller already?
ExplodingBlock (on 09 May 2014)
@NintendoPie There is nothing there for US sales, what are you reading from?
NintendoPie (on 08 May 2014)
Definitely not the best opening for a Kirby game. And also a little worse than Yoshi. America, what is wrong with you? Stop buying Yoshi and buy much more Kirby.
bsp77 (on 08 May 2014)
First week in the US is soft. A little less than Yoshi's first week. Hopefully it will have better legs since most consider it the better game.
ExplodingBlock (on 27 April 2014)
Go Kirby! These sales are amazing considering it is only out in Japan
DarkRPGamer007 (on 24 April 2014)
Wow this is outselling a lot of other platformers worldwide and it's just in Japan! If America and Europe are this good, then this will pass 2 million easily, possibly 3.
tbone51 (on 03 April 2014)
Japan #s pretty damn good! I personally need this game
Cheebee (on 05 February 2014)
This game will easily do 2m+ lifetime.
supernihilist (on 04 February 2014)

GhaudePhaede010 (on 29 January 2014)

supernihilist (on 21 January 2014)
