In addition to a variety of brutal new primary weapons and enhanced versions of previous favorites, Ninja Gaiden II features unique acrobatic combat and attacks used not only by Ryu Hayabusa but also by his formidable enemies.
  • Easy to play, hard to master: Ninja Gaiden II’s new auto-healing system featuring semi-permanent damage restored at save points is the natural evolution of the franchise’s distinctive gameplay, and introduces a new twist to managing health. From Tokyo to New York and to the Netherworld, the story leads you through a lengthy, action-packed story mode as you skillfully maneuver Ryu Hayabusa through a demonized world fraught with peril and danger. In addition to the single-player campaign, upload Karma scores to Xbox LIVE® leaderboards and participate in an all-new Master Ninja Tournament.

I was considering playing this again on 360, but I played the Vita version instead. The extra content in the Sigma releases is decent, but 360 owners aren't missing out on much.

Buy Ninja Gaiden 3. The action in this game is the best from the 3. It is more fast paced and frenetic. The new slide offers Ryu more mobility, allowing the player to chain his attacks to more enemies. The camera is still bad like in NG2. They should get the camera much further in order to allow you to see your surroundings. So gameplay wise is better, but it does less stuff in the other departments, like exploration, collectables and the weapons. The game is really fun, and Hard as ever. I have always had a hard time in "hard" mode in all NG games, and this is no different; it IS HARD. The good thing is that this time around the checkpoint system is more friendly :D.

The game is Good, it is not a good as NG:B/S, or NG2/S2; but is not a bad game!!!! Ninja Gaiden fans should give it at least a try and stop hearing the damn reviews!!!

I really need to get this game. I adored Ninja Gaiden Black on the original xbox. It's definitely the coolest hack and slash I ever had the pleasure of playing.
