Million this is half that. I loved both FFX-2, and CC, but i agree with roxas to an extent that this could be the reason they are hesitant on a costly remake. (As in not ones like the DS FFIV ones) |

If you thought Crisis Core was good then your missing out on some great games, try the non-portable FF games, there the best of the series. Since you played Crisis Core I'd start with FFVII if I were you. |
| Aj_habfan (on 14 June 2009) I'm not going to lie, I had a bit of a rough time getting through this one. The story just felt all over the place. It was actually quite fun through most of it though. The atmosphere is incredible, beautifully created, especially for a portable. Combing different attacks was cool too, and I liked the boss fights. My first Final Fantasy... not bad at all, but I don't know if I will bother with any non-PSP versions. |

I believe that this game is tracked pretty much spot-on :D Probably ~ 2.1/2.2 million shipped at this point, but with some legs it could eventually reach 2.5 million, especially if it will get a PSP the BEST edition in Japan, and Platinum/Greatest Hits in the EU/US... |

| nomorehalo (on 26 January 2009) Re: Gilgamesh - Yeah FFVII gets a lot of bad rap in hindsight but I think if most people tried it again they'd be amazed. Crisis Core's story is great because the developers knew what was great about the original (it wasn't just fanfare like AC). Christhor - Yeah you got that right, I think I didn't figure that out till my second playthrough. A random villager tells it and there are some small hints. I'm sure a lot of people didn't get that. |

How come the city is there even if it got burnt down? The only thing I could make out from talking to people in the city was *Spoilers* That Shinra rebuilt Nibelheim and hired people to live there, since Sephiroth was SOLDIER and they didn't want to get the blame? Is that right? |
| Gilgamesh (on 16 December 2008) I've played Final Fantasy VII before but it was like 6 years ago the second last time I played, I just started playing it not to long ago and I just finished it again a couple weeks ago and ya I completely understand now, I guess I just forgot everything in it, my memory doesn't work to well when trying to remember a game I've played 6 years ago lol. After all them years it was still a epic game, there's so much emotion in it, especially when you just finished Crisis Core. |

| sse_acx (on 09 April 2008) It's for sure a button smasher and rather linear on the locations. People keep comparing it to the tales games. But people forget, IT"S A PORTABLE GAME! How deep do you expect the game to be ? The graphics are amazing and story is very good. The battle system is fun and on hard mode, keeps you constantly running around to avoid dying. So the game to me is exciting. Any FF fan will give this game no less then a 9 in my opinion just to watch the story and play with materia again ! |

I am amazed two really good games will be coming out on PSP in one month. 3 if you include Patapon. FF7:CC and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword are my two most wanted portable titles that aren't out yet. |

The gameplay has sort of an Advent Children feel to it (which should be great) and it's in real time (I wonder how SE will pull this off with a real time and AC feel). On your profile you say "I prefer games that require skills to finish, so let's just say I'm not the biggest RPG fan out there!" (which I would also disagree with, the sill part, that is) so why would you pinpoint Final Fantasy VII? If it is just a prequel, like many other series do, and apparently and pretty good one too, why is this any different than Mario Super Strikers? I believe the term that applies here is 'trolling' "I mean, if they really want FFXIII to impress everyone when it comes out or something they should invest more time on it" I thought that they were putting a lot of time and resources into this game and that a completely different team was working on this game? I'll try it for sure, but will be disappointed, like with pretty much every other FF games that came out recently (I'm not going to discuss about that here). I enjoyed Advent Children quite a bit and Crisis Core is looking to be great. Dirge did suck, though, but I will give SE a bit a credit for trying something new.
