Super Mario Galaxy goes back to similar roots as Super Mario 64, distancing itself in terms of gameplay from Super Mario Sunshine, exploration has never been better. Although its different from Sunshine, the gameplay does have the same basic controls except the use of FLUDD, you have the wii mote to use to spin attack and to target falling star shards. Fans of the Mario series will surely enjoy this instant classic as the storyline is lighthearted, music score is one of the best ever made, gameplay is fluid, graphics are dream like! 8.9/10 |

FInally Nintedo is trying to fix its small..minor problem that they have had over the last year. We are getting aot of quality titles, this price reductions, The great black bundle that just came out!Also the DSiXL is awesome! Maybe if this stays at 45 it will make it to 10 million with in the next year or so.. |

Nintendo will not drop the price because they really have no good reason to do that from a business stand point. Mario Galaxy is on pace for around 700k in sales at full price this year not counting any holiday boost which will most likely push that number to over yet another million ... at FULL price. So while we love to see our favorite games sell well, great sales means, no discount price any time soon. |

New Super Mario Bros appeals to us core gamers AND your older brother, cousin, father, uncle etc etc that haven't played a video game since the Super Nintendo. |

Business wise ... why drop the price if it is still selling? There is no point. |

I can think of at least a dozen Wii games that deserve a second shot at retail. No More Heroes, Okami, SMG, Super Paper Mario, Warioland, Zelda:TP, Mario Kart Wii (if it would stop selling at full price!) and the list could go on and on. |

The move from 64/Sunshine to Galaxy lost that I think but it more than made up for it with fantastic platforming level design. Adding adventure styled levels to it with all the crazy platforming would make Galaxy 2 probably, my favourite game of all time. |

It has outsold Mario Sunshine and has a shot .... at Mario 64, though I think it will come up a short by 1 or 2 million when all is said and done. Either way, Nintendo has to be THRILLED with Mario Galaxy's performance so far ... And its sells will be very strong during the holidays 08 aswell. As for bundles, Wii Sports seems to be doing a pretty good job selling the Wii, so that is not going to happen. |

If previous MP games have made you a convert into the First Person Adventure (FPA) sub-genre, MP3 is your option. But as Kihnio said, if you can you should definetly get both (and then Super Paper Mario, Batallion Wars II and Fire Emblem). |

If it has sold 3M so quickly, and its legs prove to be as long as most Nintendo and in particular Mario games are, then this game will easily become one of the biggest sellers of all time. The Zelda franchise, though extremely popular, always finishes a distant second to Mario, and so far Twilight Princess has sold over 5.5M copies between the Wii and the 'Cube. I really do think this game has the potential to sell 10M or more. If Mario 64 can do it, I am sure Galaxy can. |

Something which makes out a great game. Oh and despite some shortcomings it was an incredible fun game. Its gameplay was not as polished as mario that is true. But I like the ambitious games that have some failings more than the ones that play it save and succeed. I want devs to take some chances and push the envelope. But I think that comes down to taste. And in the end both are great games. |

| decels (on 21 November 2007) Really awesome game! What is so great about it is not the controls or the graphics or any other thing... It's just because it's incredibly fun! The levels are perfectly done and I really couldn't stop playing... It would be like "just on emore star and then i'll quit" but It would go on and on... I had to rate it 9 (but I would have given it 9.5 if given the chance) I didn't give it a 10 because the game is on the easy side (tough some levels are really tricky) and after playing Ratchet & Clank in HD... god Mario looks a bit dull on the graphics (still best graphics on Wii yet)... I just wish we can one day see Mario in does kinds of graphics and wow... I couldn't wish anymore! |

| NintendoTogepi (on 15 November 2007) This game is AMAZING! 25 stars right now and it is BY FAR ONE BILLION times better then Sunshine and 64, and I think it's just a bit under World! (my favorite Mario currently) I'm so happy that I got it before Christmas! I was with my Dad in the car after we drove my cousin and aunt to college, and then he said something to the effect of "You know, you've been really good recently, and I know you want that game so..." and then he pulled into the EBGames and he bought it for me! :O (even though I told him to let me buy it, he insisted. I never mentioned it all day and then suddenly he tells me that! I was so surprised) But yeah, it's so so awesome. I've been playing it for about 8 hours straight and I need to stop for a little bit. |
