| shanbcn (on 11 May 2012) Will pass 5m the way its selling. | |
| Heavenly_King (on 26 March 2012) This game on PS3 only has the chance to surpass FFXIII PS3 sales. | |
| Gilgamesh (on 18 March 2012) 120 hours and I reached my limit I got every trophy but 1 and I game up. Now on to a JRPG White knight chronicles. | |
| Gluestickid (on 18 March 2012) @sh4dow Although I do agree that they should have fixed it up before release or postpone release if they really had to but this game is far from pathetic and is one of the best of its kind. | |
| Gluestickid (on 18 March 2012) Sold quite well. As for the game itself it was really good but It didn't have that "feeling" Oblivion had. | |
| -girgosz- (on 18 March 2012) It's a Bethesda game. You always have to wait for the patches. :) | |
| cmeese47 (on 05 March 2012) This version has been fixed with the 1.04 patch. I played it for over 100 hours and while I had a few glitches the games worked really well. Overall in 113 hours I had 4 freezes and brief lag maybe 20 times. | |
| -girgosz- (on 18 February 2012) Yeah a I saw many videos of the game a read many rewievs the I tried the PC version with all the mods and 1.4 patch over at a friend's house played it for like half an hour then I was like: "WTF is this shit? This game sucks! :O" | |
| sh4dow (on 08 February 2012) @ Salnax Exactly. People really will buy any piece of crap with the right marketing. There are so many better games out there, yet this pathetic thing sells like crazy. | |
| Salnax (on 03 February 2012) Excellent numbers for a game that doesn't work. | |
| Turkish (on 03 February 2012) Played more then 100 hours and got the platinum trophy. Do not buy this game if you dont want only 2 frames per second during combat. | |
| bigjon (on 21 January 2012) Dropped 60+ hours into this version then it became just unplayable. This version is broken. Luckly for me my PC plays it very stable at high settings... should have gone that way from the beginning.... | |
| abhiram_33 (on 19 January 2012) too bad school is keeping me from playing this game | |
| Mordred11 (on 13 January 2012) simply amaaazing numbers | |
| jester2358 (on 09 January 2012) Already past fallout 3. Should pass 4m by end of 2012 | |
| bigjon (on 07 January 2012) cannot master everything I mean, | |
| bigjon (on 07 January 2012) ok, now a lvl 30. This game is better than Oblivion in every way. And I liked ES IV alot... Perks system is awsome, I am already think about what I will do for my next char because you can master EVERYTHING on one Char | |
| pezus (on 05 January 2012) Outsold 360 version in Europe this week for the first time | |
| Iveyboi (on 04 January 2012) Will buy soon | |
| XJordanXCLBX (on 02 January 2012) how can a broken game sell so much | |
| bigjon (on 01 January 2012) got this from the in laws for Cmas, only 5 hours in- So far so good. | |
| -girgosz- (on 01 January 2012) Wow. The Xbox version is almost 2 million ahead. Why the big gap? | |
| Christhor (on 27 December 2011) @VGKing: When another game company can make such an expansive game, without any glitches, then you can come back and talk about Bethesda not deserving it. | |
| A203D (on 24 December 2011) It has done well in Japan, but i think theres no way it will outsell FF13-2 in that region. i have heard 10 mil copies have been shipped. which is interesting indeed because it could sell more copies than FF7. | |
| Galvanizer (on 23 December 2011) Almost sold over 100K on PS3 in Japan. Hopefully it will have legs and sell more than FFXIII-2 in the country. | |
| VGKing (on 23 December 2011) Its sad how a game as glitchy as this can sell so much. IMO Bethesda doesn't deserve it. | |
| Mordred11 (on 20 December 2011) 3M this year? | |
| Mordred11 (on 20 December 2011) and it once again increases! | |
| acdcste (on 17 December 2011) Nice to see this pass the 2m mark. Like the 360 version though the price drop definitely helped a little. | |
| VXIII (on 16 December 2011) I want to believe .. | |
| Mordred11 (on 16 December 2011) And so it did, 360K for the week globally,excellent. | |
| Mordred11 (on 15 December 2011) Has a chance at reaching 2M once Global #'s are up | |
| Mordred11 (on 15 December 2011) woah, almost 140k for Europe alone.Along with the japan numbers, the version will easily be over 300k globally for the week. Amazing. | |
| Mordred11 (on 13 December 2011) big boost! | |
| pezus (on 13 December 2011) You wouldn't know, since you don't have the PS3 version | |
| yahoocomReborn (on 13 December 2011) And waiting for Steam workshop and Creation Kit, unplayable my ass | |
| yahoocomReborn (on 13 December 2011) Unplayable my ass, I'm enjoyng my PC steam version and Xbox360 version now | |
| Salnax (on 12 December 2011) WRPGs: the only genre where you can release a game that eventually becomes unplayable, and sell over 1.6 million copies in a month. | |
| Bitfreak (on 11 December 2011) Excellent game, me and my partner both play it. I haven't come aross any bugs in my 70+ hours of playtime but my partners been pretty unlucky on atleast 5 occasions she's had to restart the ps3 completely because it froze, also a great many quest breaking problems, all this and she only has half the playtime I do lol. Typical of bethesda though. Still a great game! :P | |
| yahoocomReborn (on 11 December 2011) i played all Bethesda games on PC, starts from Daggerfall, Battlespire, morrowind, to Oblivion and fallout 3, I would say Skyrim is the most stable launch for Bethesda in 20 years; So all the Bug complians are from PS3 gamers I presume, becasuse PC version doesn't have many bugs at all (unless you played pirated version), as long as you play the steam version, it's best | |

| yahoocomReborn (on 11 December 2011) Skyrim suppose to be playing on PC, not PS3.. Xbox? ok, because morrowind was hit on Xbox too | |
| yahoocomReborn (on 11 December 2011) PS3 version = not good; Xbox360 versIon= OK; PC version: THe best +plus the graphics mods | |
| dsage01 (on 10 December 2011) but still good | |
| dsage01 (on 10 December 2011) One of the most glichest games I've played | |
| Claymore (on 09 December 2011) I took my copy back and got a refund. | |
| think-man (on 04 December 2011) s | |
| Rimlag (on 04 December 2011) The framerate lag is still there lol... - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rU7XS__ElRU | |
| drakesfortune (on 03 December 2011) @aaronSolider As much as I wish you were right, the 360 shots look better in every instance. The shadows in those shots are clearly better on 360. I'm a PS3 fanboy too, so it pains me to say that. I much prefer playing games on my PS3. That said the shadows on PS3 are horrible. None of those shots show normal PS3 shadows, which are as low res as I've ever seen in a game on PS3. The normal shadows are atrociously jaggy, low res, and horrible looking. I still LOVE the game on PS3, but to say the shadows are better on PS3 is to have no played the game. They are awful. No doubt about it. | |
| osamanobama (on 03 December 2011) terribly glitchy game, but of course this is the type of game reviewers give a pass on, ignoring huge glaring faults, and slap a 10 on it. | |
| usrevenge (on 02 December 2011) skyrim creation kit in anuary for the PC players over 3million sold and will be even higher when it wins GOTY | |
| Slimebeast (on 02 December 2011) Patch 1.2 fixed the lag for me and I've had no other issues so far. | |
| AaronSOLDIER (on 30 November 2011) @drakesfortune http://www.lensoftruth.com/head2head-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-screenshot-comparison/ Look at pictures 8, 9 and 10, PS3 clearly has better detailed shadows. | |
| AngryAztec (on 30 November 2011) No, the PS3 version is flawed because of lag issues. The game becomes unplayable the more you play it, because of the terrible framerate. The patch that Beethesda released actually makes things worse. I can't believe reviewers scored this game so high. They obviously didn't get very far into it. | |
| drakesfortune (on 29 November 2011) after playing both fallout games on 360, and now buying this for PS3, I would say the 360 version is likely better. For only one reason, the shadow quality on PS3 is horrible. That was never an issue on the 360 fallout games. So I have to believe that the PS3 version is worse for that reason alone. And when I say the shadows are inferior, I mean they are just terrible. They are the lowest res shadows I've ever seen, by a country mile. Still, the game is great on PS3. It's fun, the world sucks you in, and I'm totally into it. I wish the shadows weren't so distracting though. | |
| dsage01 (on 26 November 2011) 1 million FW not bad at all | |
| Yamaneko22 (on 25 November 2011) @"Not the best start ever, but considering its inferior quality to the Xbox version" Actually this version doesn't have xbox's texture glitch, which makes it more appealing... But who cares, they are both inferior to PC ver;3 Modes are what make Elder Scrolls really shine. | |
| zuvuyeay (on 21 November 2011) what a lot of fun,great stuff | |
| Boutros (on 20 November 2011) Should reach 1 million FW with Japan sales XD (I like how Japan is holding milestones back) | |
| Slimebeast (on 20 November 2011) These are amazing sales. Could reach 4 million lifetime on the PS3 alone. I have had no problems with this version so far, 45 hours in. | |
| -girgosz- (on 19 November 2011) Wow. More than 1 million behind the 360 version. | |
| Munkeh111 (on 19 November 2011) Whoops, there was a slight error in the site, so I thought it had only sold the US numbers overall.... So actually a rather good start, especially considering what is going on! | |
| Munkeh111 (on 19 November 2011) Not the best start ever, but considering its inferior quality to the Xbox version, and the launches of CoD and Uncharted, it is okay. Personally I should be getting a version of this in a the next few weeks once I am done with Assassassins Creed | |
| SvennoJ (on 18 November 2011) It's an addictive game but the clunky interface and bad follower AI are getting in the way of enjoying a pure mage build. | |
| LJELLZ (on 17 November 2011) this is one of the best games ive played better than oblivion | |
| The_Joker_Product (on 16 November 2011) Oblivion was too awful for me to ever get consider this. | |
| Slimebeast (on 14 November 2011) Wagram there aren't many bugs at all. I've played 17 hours and only found a few floating character models and flying fishes and one small texture flickering. | |
| Slimebeast (on 14 November 2011) I agree with AngelosL. | |
| Wagram (on 13 November 2011) I bought it but i'm not sure if I will keep it. Below the glitches and bugs i'm sure there is a good game. However I can't just forget them. They completely kill the immersion. | |
| AngelosL (on 13 November 2011) @VXIII 'the bad taste of Oblivion'? Oblivion is one of the best RPGs I've ever played... I've already played 21 hours of Skyrim and I have no words... it has the potential of becoming my greatest game ever. | |
| VXIII (on 12 November 2011) I'm not going to deny it, this game looks very good, but I'm afraid to get it, I can still feel the bad taste of Oblivion. | |
| PlaystaionGamer (on 09 November 2011) i don't know if i should get this or Assassins Creed Revelations | |
| mjk45 (on 09 November 2011) just arrived and another game i have to wait to put on my games list | |
| darthdevidem01 (on 15 June 2011) GOTY 2011 after Xenoblade Chronicles | |
| Fab_GS (on 14 June 2011) Can't wait for this! | |
| Slimebeast (on 14 May 2011) 94% Meta. 850K first week. 3.5 mill lifetime. | |
| Slimebeast (on 07 April 2011) Yeah, Oblivion 3.5 mill on X360 alone. With a simultaneous PS3 launch it would be a combined 6.5 million. Skyrim will grow on that. 8 million on consoles. 3.5 million on PS3. | |
| VXIII (on 09 March 2011) Dark Souls | |
| yahoocom1984 (on 05 February 2011) Now Oblivion has sold 5.54 million on two consoles, maybe 2 million on PC, so that's 7.54 million now, Oblivion can reach 8 million | |
| yahoocom1984 (on 13 December 2010) well, Oblivion sold 3.3 million on XBOX360, over 2 million on PS3; possibly sold even better on PC! So I predict Skyrim will sell at least 9 million copies across all 3 platforms! | |
| Boutros (on 13 December 2010) ARE YOU KIDDING (!?!?) BEST GAME EVER!!! LIKE FOREVER EVER!!! | |
| darthdevidem01 (on 13 December 2010) GOTY 2011 and WRPG of Gen, possibly RPG of gen! | |
| Rob-Ot (on 12 December 2010) I hope they don't screw this up like Oblivon. Please be more like Morrowind :( | |
| Slimebeast (on 12 December 2010) This is GOTY 2011. I am so excited, can't describe. My early prediction is 94% Meta and 3.5 million copies for the PS3 version. |
