Sega didnt support it, because Conduit 1 flopped, why would they pour more money into a series that is not getting them any returns?? They wouldnt, I bet that if it wasnt for the contract they wouldnt have even released the damn game. Outsold?? Hell no, Red Steel 2, and NMH 2 were better received than their predecessors and they did worst.

Conduit 2 and Tournament of Legends performed badly for sales because Sega, for some reason known only to themselves, decided to stealth release them. If Conduit 2 had been given the same sort of advertising budget the first one had then I'm certain it would have outsold it. The second game fixed a lot of problems the first game had and deserved to do better. High Voltage are now working on a U title, it wouldn't surprise me if they canned the Wii SKU and started development on a U SKU instead using the Infernal Engine.

I dont feel sorry for HVS, they are so-so dev and the made a so-so game. And they had the nerve to hype it up like it was a AAA title or something. If you dont back up your words, you look foolish simple as that. Nothing to do with WIi, GE is doing great

Jaxx grinder is gone on the wii. I hope that this game gets a christmas deal or something.

I wholeheartedly salute HVS for attempting to break out of the work-for-hire position with their own IP. It's sad to see a much more enticing and ambitiuos projet like the GRinder get shot down based on Tournament of Legends and Conduit 2 doing so poorly. Hopefully it still exists, but is back on the drawing board to be refitted to the new market and the new demands.

I strongly suspect the Grinder has been postponed indefinitly. Warner Bros. was supposed to publish it but I guess they backed out since the game hasn't been released and there hasn't been any information on either the wii or HD versions in months. The abysmal sales of Conduit 2 is probably the reason.
