| ethanmars (on 15 March 2011) ¡rockstar forever! | |
| dsage01 (on 11 March 2011) this would have sold better if it came out in the holidays | |
| sabby_e17 (on 13 January 2011) Finally, 1 milion. Epic expansion. | |
| Smeags (on 07 January 2011) Dang, this and FIFA world cup were so close to making it this year! Ah well, nice way to start off the new year with a million seller such as this. | |
| axumblade (on 06 January 2011) just missed it by 3k....Oh well, still close enough if we round. haha. | |
| drakesfortune (on 31 December 2010) 2 mil...here we come. | |
| axumblade (on 02 December 2010) Should hit 1 million by years end. | |
| Iveyboi (on 26 November 2010) This will definitely hit 1 million. I won't lie I did not expect this. Congrats! | |
| Lurker (on 22 May 2010) Pretty good legs just like the 360 version had. Might creep up to 1m | |
| cmeese47 (on 21 May 2010) This is doing decent for a late port but I had really hoped it would outsell the 360 version | |
| Ping_ii (on 21 May 2010) NICE!!! selling so well. | |
| blue7x7 (on 08 May 2010) This should sell 1 million easily if the legs keep up. The xbox 360 version was selling similar slightly higher and eventually went on to sell 1 million. So this should to but it will take a while until it does. | |
| Munkeh111 (on 08 May 2010) Amazing game and selling okay. I would love to know the digital sales though | |
| AkibaFan (on 07 May 2010) gta4 ws amazing, haters will hate. this game is amzing too | |
| chocoloco (on 06 May 2010) call me a ps3 fan cause I waited many months to buy this for PS3 even with my xbox. Screw Microsoft for making me wait so long. | |
| akuseru (on 05 May 2010) Yeah, I know Rockstar got paid for doing the exclusive thing and used that money to develop, but looking at the sales on PS3, for both this AND GTA IV, they should've released it multi from the start. | |
| rossoner (on 05 May 2010) well of im not mistaken gta4 ps3 version also sold better in eu. anyway great sales 4 episodes | |
| sabestar (on 04 May 2010) Agreed, I'll be stunned if it sells a million. Sales are surprisingly good, esp in Eu. | |
| leo-j (on 04 May 2010) if it hits a million (looking likely) I will be shocked.. this is a pretty big hit on PSN too | |
| Carl2291 (on 04 May 2010) 250k in 2 weeks? Should have released them at the same time... | |
| TT Makaveli (on 04 May 2010) wow...300k in 2 weeks...not that bad...should perform exactly like the Xbox version...maybe even more sales lets see... | |
| Boutros (on 04 May 2010) @ivanpgcs lol yeah something is wrong here. | |
| ivanpgcs (on 04 May 2010) 186+115=240? | |
| Heavenly_King (on 03 May 2010) @reaver_x: Lost and damn is 8-10 hrs long, it is like a full game; but you get 2 for only 40 bucks. The best $40 I have ever spent. | |
| reaver_x (on 03 May 2010) if this is as short as DA: awakening, count me out | |
| StockoPS3 (on 02 May 2010) miles better than gta4 imo... love the characters more | |
| sabby_e17 (on 01 May 2010) Please people, tell Darth that this expansion is excellent and that he should get it right away. | |
| Mr Puggsly (on 01 May 2010) @ drakesfortune Higher expectations doesn't mean they didn't make a shit load of money. Also, expansions don't generally sell in the millions. We know L&D sold a million on Live. Gay Tony likely sold great as well. EFLC is a million seller on the 360. This version will also become a million seller. You are comparing it to other GTA games, but this is the only expansion. GTAIV and EFLC will have good legs this entire gen. Just like every GTA game last gen. | |
| darthdevidem01 (on 01 May 2010) Is this game any good? (unlike the game its a DLC too) Is it fun like GTA:SA & so on were? Because its really cheap & it feels criminal to not buy a new GTA release as I've always bought new GTA releases. | |
| XxXProphecyXxX (on 01 May 2010) why would any1 with a full working brain think a 1 year old port should sell heaps better that the version that was out longer? WTF? | |
| aragod (on 30 April 2010) @leo-j I wouldn't be so sure, the disc version is way cheaper than both episodes from PSN, also on the disc you get exclusive content that isn't available through download. I wanted to buy only BogT, but i n the end I got the whole package, since it was only slightly more expensive than the DLC (one DLC!) | |
| headshot91 (on 29 April 2010) @leoj, wheres your evidence? | |
| leo-j (on 28 April 2010) low sales? Considering the fact, most of its sales are probably coming from PSN | |
| solidpumar (on 28 April 2010) Steam price is amazing, only 22usd. Ps3 version low sales are to be expected, tho will likely have strong legs. | |
| drakesfortune (on 25 April 2010) @Pugg, well you can disagree about the success, but Rockstar themselves said they were very disappointed in the sales of the expansion packs, as well as Chinatown Wars. Sure, this level of profitability would be great for most franchises, but for GTA the bar is set much higher, and that's why they are not pleased with the sales. The opening numbers for this expansion are pathetic for a GTA game. Pathetic. I'm sure this'll go on to sell 1 or 2 million copies, but I think they thought they'd be selling at least that much day 1 when they started this DLC strategy. | |
| zuvuyeay (on 23 April 2010) i bought this for £21 in argos yesterday, good value i wonder how many people downloaded these on both platforms | |
| aragod (on 23 April 2010) Only thing which I don't like about this DLC is the fact that it's a standalone game. I would've really enjoyed if they've incorporated these new options into the original game, expanding possibilities and exploration aspect. Too bad. But they are definately worth the cash (for 25 euro? hell yeah) | |
| PearlJam (on 23 April 2010) Better late than never. | |
| Mr Puggsly (on 22 April 2010) @ drakesfortune I disagree. The expansions have been very successful both in sales and critically. It couldn't have cost much to develop these considering they just use content from GTA IV. Also, MS fronted them $50 million for timed exclusivity. That assures they were profitable from the beginning. This version will become a million seller as well. | |
| drakesfortune (on 21 April 2010) I think this DLC strategy has seriously backfired on Rockstar. They should have been focused on the next GTA game instead. | |
| sabby_e17 (on 21 April 2010) Okay start. Should reach at least a million. And yeah, get the disc version over the DL version. @johndude: No, they're the same. Still though, the game isn't about graphics and if you play GTA, then I highly recommend this to you. | |
| aragod (on 21 April 2010) In the end I've ordered the disc version, it's a lot cheaper than the PSN version + there is some bonus stuff. Anyway I'm getting into GTA IV again, such an awesome and underrated game. | |
| Munkeh111 (on 21 April 2010) An okay start, I wonder how much it sold on PSN | |
| iWarMachine (on 21 April 2010) good 1st week. | |
| johndude12345 (on 18 April 2010) Are the graphics for this better than GTA IV or are they pretty much the same? | |
| gamefreak4ever (on 16 April 2010) got my copy yesterday will be playing this weekend | |
| sabby_e17 (on 16 April 2010) Recieved my copy today. Started off with Lost and Damned and I have to say that it was very good. For anyone interested, pick this up right away. | |
| aragod (on 11 April 2010) I'm going for Ballad, not really interested in Lost and Damned. So PS Store download it is. | |
| AvatarX (on 09 April 2010) Can't wait to play this, I'm pretty pissed of that they went with Xbox first but at least we got it. | |
| Vanbierk (on 29 March 2010) Who knows, could sell well, I'd imagine people who don't have an XBox but have a Ps3 would still get it if they're interested, because it'll be labeled a new release, probably | |
| Severance (on 21 March 2010) hm... i wonder how much this will do. | |
| AFFLICTION (on 03 February 2010) About damn time but a little to late so i guess MS's plan worked :-) |
