"Cooking Mama" has two gameplay modes.

Training: Practice any of the food preparation techniques

Main Meals: Step up to the stove and try to complete an entire dish. Choose "Let's Practice" to practice the whole dish or "Let's Cook" to cook for Mama and achieve a ranking.
