Does anyone think this could cross 1m sales by this time next year? I reckon it could, since it's really cheap now, and when people hear about Yakuza 5 I can see a slight boost since there's going to be new people wanting to get into the series
SnakeDrake (on 13 April 2012)
160K to go
SnakeDrake (on 14 January 2012)

Ham_Burgular (on 09 January 2012)

oniyide (on 08 January 2012)

oldschoolfool (on 22 August 2011)

paulrage2 (on 11 August 2011)

Mr.Noodle (on 27 July 2011)
I thought in NA this game would sell better than the 3rd since its a better game and have a better following.
Iveyboi (on 12 June 2011)
Finally got it...just finished Story 2 and it is GREAT. Picks up as it goes along for sure.
whatz3rname (on 31 May 2011)

Yakuza 4 is a great game. So much things to do. Better than most RPGs.

I'm confident that this game will reach between 50-100k in both US and EU, not combined, but each, it'll definitely hit 50k sales in one of the areas before 10 weeks, I think EU will have the stronger legs as usual and reach a higher lifetime sales. I think if the game can reach a total of 100-150k in the west, it's been a success, just not as great as Yakuza 3, but oh well, still great!
aken909 (on 14 April 2011)
Really great game, best in the series. Sega did a really good job. It's a shame it has such poor sales.
TT Makaveli (on 31 March 2011)
@Iveboi: the same with me...to totally enjoy a Yakuza game it needs much time...and right now i dont got it...i got so many games here at home that i need to play :-/
Iveyboi (on 29 March 2011)
I want to buy it but there are too many games out around now..I feel many gamers wanting this feel the same
Heavenly_King (on 29 March 2011)
I bet the game at least will reach 100k in US and EU
LordMatrix (on 26 March 2011)
Good lord this game bombed outside of Japan. Yakuza 3 was pretty fun so I am surprised.
axumblade (on 25 March 2011)
@bristow, I believe this game will probably have legs to be honest. Last year I don't remember but I want to say there wasn't nearly as many titles competing for the PS3 gamers attention.
Bristow9091 (on 25 March 2011)
Oh my, now the US numbers are up this game isn't doing too well right now, it's way below the first week of the third in the west... let's hope something amazing happens otherwise I reckon SEGA won't release anymore outside of JP. If it can atleast reach 0.1m in each of US and EU it should be fine in terms of sales, let's cross our fingers and hope!
8Nawt753 (on 25 March 2011)
I was gonna grab 3, but saw 4 on sale. Might as well buy the latest one.
kivi95 (on 24 March 2011)
hope i gets atleast some legs in Europe
Bristow9091 (on 24 March 2011)
Oh dear, sales are weaker than the previous game in EU first week, although that could be due to it being overpriced in some stores, in the two HMV's near me it's retailing at £50, whereas it's £45 in GAME and Gamestation, I remember I bought the third one on release day for only £35 which was the price everywhere. I hope it has stronger legs than the third and sells better!
Spinzaku (on 02 March 2011)
I think the release of "Yakuza: Of The End" will burst sales in Japan. There must be some price cut editions aswell.
italo244 (on 04 February 2011)
Still can surpass Yakuza 3 on Japan.
whatz3rname (on 04 December 2010)
It will. March 15 in the US if I don't remember incorrectly.
Vueguy (on 16 November 2010)

Dgc1808 (on 19 May 2010)
Closing in on Y3's Japanese sales pretty quickly.
NSS7 (on 15 May 2010)
Again bad legs.
nen-suer (on 09 April 2010)
Am hoping for a western release
by the end of the year
--OkeyDokey-- (on 06 April 2010)
SEGA could have an easy million selling franchise if they weren't lazy with the western releases. Hope this changes with Yakuza 4.
KeyStyle (on 05 April 2010)
700k LTD in Japan
sbvgc2012 (on 03 April 2010)
