Flick Fishing 1.4 Now Available! Plus+ Integration, new fish and more!
Freeverse’s first game to include the Plus+ Network, Flick Fishing, now features leader-boards for in-game achievements, making challenging other players or yourself simple and fun! Per-player game saves so multiple profiles can share one iPhone and an iPod Playlist feature in the audio options are also new. Two new named fish up the Flick ante, and even the Private Beach owners get a new fish type and the ability to play Fishjack against the CPU.

GameKit Peer-to-Peer networking

New fishing location available to purchase!
Private Island, a lush tropical local. Kick off those flipflops and go fishing!
Includes 3 new fish, Grouper, Striped Bass and Barracuda + 1 new special fish
Fish Jack. It’s a whole network game that’s like Blackjack…. but with fish!

Cast the line with a flick of your wrist. With a skillful combination of bait, location, and technique you’ll hook a fish — now you just need to reel it in! Reel carefully to avoid snapping the line and losing your fish. Larger fish are strong, and won’t be hauled in easily.

With 6 fishing locations, 9 types of bait and tackle, 12 tournaments and dozens of unique species of fish, Flick Fishing is an unrivaled fishing simulation, and just plain fun!

Play against your friends over the local Network, and show off your biggest catch via email using the built-in “Brag” feature. Play in ‘Quest’ Mode, where you must help the Old Guy in the Lighthouse with his new job running the Island’s virtual aquarium by catching fish. There is also an unlockable ‘eXtreme Fishing’ Mode, where you can hook much bigger fish, but with more skill required to reel them in.

Here’s some fishing tips!

  • Each fish prefers a certain type of bait. For example, Marlin and Sailfish prefer squid
  • There’s a named “monster” fish in each location, that’s the biggest of it’s kind
  • The biggest fish is the swordfish; use the lure in the “Waves of Doom” location
  • Waves of Doom has a 2000 lb “monster” swordfish that is very VERY hard to catch

PS: Don’t believe the Old Guy in the Lighthouse and his stories about odd occurrences at the Old Pond, he’s just making stuff up.
