 | BasilZero (on 30 January 2012) Nintendo breaks all norm as they release a sequel of a mario game on the same console (the last time they did this was on SNES). Regardless, for those who loved Mario Galaxy will enjoy this one even more, as it includes more old features that were left out on the original, as Yoshi returns, some nostalgic stages and music are back. Nintendo really outdone themselves in the graphics (which are HD quality like), Orchestral Music Score, and a even more improved gameplay structure. 9.5/10 |

Even a while ago when this was at 4 million, Iwata said it had reached 5 million. The difference is about the same as it was back then, so I think its safe to say that the first few weeks after release were under-tracked. |

| Kai Master (on 30 May 2010) To me the best way to see the rating of a game is to go to GameSpot and see the user ratings, 100s and 1000 votes, and what's amazing is that casual games get very few ratings and bad ratings, like Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus, etc. It seems the only hard core games (lot of ratings, good ratings) are Mario Kart, New Mario, Smash Bros, Mario Galaxy, Zelda and Metroid Prime 3... I don't think the VGC ratings on the left are useful. |

Besides it says galaxy complete when you get all the yellow stars, but in reality it's not complete till you do the green star challenge. Which unlike SMG1 isn't just collecting the same stars over again. |

EVen the ones who dont give it a 9 or higher! When former EGM gives it tip score you know its good! Hope it hits at least 10 mill.
