Chronicles is a sword and sorcery adventure with a complex, multi-structured narrative and gameplay based on Arthurian legend. Morgana, Arthur's sister, is threatening to reveal Lancelot and Guinevere's affair to the world. Enter Gawain, who must off the evil lady before all hell breaks loose.

There are more than a hundred fully-rendered locations to explore, and conversations with characters are crucial. The sampled speech is excellent - crisp and clear throughout, but combat is the true innovation. There are no controller combinations or tricky spells to cast - just face a foe, decide which defence or attack you're going to use and a pre-rendered sequence follows, showing the consequences. Secret rooms and loads of sub-plots are certain to keep even the most experienced adventurer hungry for more.
