| cromeros (on 22 January 2012) Enough?... Very good sales... :D... | |
| Fededx (on 15 January 2012) There you have it, 3.04 M, enough? :P | |
| AstroMaSSi (on 15 January 2012) I want more than 3M! | |
| Aidman (on 31 December 2011) finally ! | |
| fedfed (on 26 December 2011) Finally 3mil! | |
| atma998 (on 06 December 2011) 2.94M. Hopefully the game will reach 3M. | |
| tolu619 (on 30 October 2011) As at the time of this post, I've beaten the 4th dungeon and am about to return to the Spirit Tower. This game is totally awesome. The train sections are the worst part of this game and everything else is near perfect, only the melee combat is too basic. You really only have 3 sword attacks in the entire game! The Spirit Tower sections are the best part of the game and maximize all of the potential of the DS. | |
| fedfed (on 19 September 2011) ABSOLUTELY FUN-TASTIC! | |
| Mordred11 (on 11 September 2011) looks like a great game | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 20 August 2011) Good game, and it still sold quite well. Being a sequel to PH on the same system, as well as a game right behind Skyward Sword, almost 3 million isn't too bad. Not to mention it released near the weaker end of the DS's life. | |
| fedfed (on 07 June 2011) Just receive it! I will played all day! | |
| dark_gh0st_b0y (on 03 January 2011) this is the kind of games where you get to understand how genius Nintendo is and how superior the Ds is to the PSP | |
| dark_gh0st_b0y (on 03 January 2011) this is the kind of games where you get to understand how genius Nintendo is and how superior the Ds is to the PSP | |
| --OkeyDokey-- (on 04 November 2010) Never got to play this game because my mic is broken. Someday, when I get a 3DS I will buy it. | |
| Fededx (on 30 October 2010) hope it reaches 3 m soon! | |
| st_muscat0 (on 09 May 2010) Just finished the game (brought it late) and its one of the best Zelda games I've played, the only thing I prefer from PH is the boat over the train. Sucks that it won't get to 4.5 million like PH :(, hopefully Nintendo are happy with 3 million lifetime sales. | |
| andremop (on 08 May 2010) the theme song of this game visits my mind from time to time. Great game, but this HAS to stop! | |
| Fededx (on 08 May 2010) 2.200.200 lol perfect numbers! | |
| Khuutra (on 29 April 2010) Going to be a long road to three million, but it should still make it. I think that beats out my prediction, which was 2.5 lifetime. | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 19 April 2010) http://www.cubed3.com/news/14001 I'd still like to point out that if you check for Spirit Tracks in that chart list, it looks like Spirit Tracks is somewhat under-tracked in Japan. Can anyone explain this? | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 18 April 2010) I can't say for sure, but I think this game will just barely leg itself to 3 million lifetime sales, maybe a bit more. That's my prediction, since I think its slowed down quite a bit, but its still a Zelda game which should help it hold on to decent legs for a long enough time. Kind of a shame, but at first glance (which is usually the last glance the masses will give it) I'm sure alot of people don't want to give this game a try. | |
| IxisNaugus (on 09 April 2010) @ nordlead. I know the train must be pissing you off right now but bear with it. The dungeons are worth it and the dark realm is the best part about the game imo, you'll be amazed when you get there :) | |
| nordlead (on 09 April 2010) oh, and I'll throw in that I really liked Phantom Hourglass. I Just couldn't get into this one. | |
| nordlead (on 09 April 2010) I haven't even forced myself to finish this yet... | |
| 1928 (on 02 April 2010) I loved this game. The ending is truly epic, and the story truly drills into your soul. The music, gameplay, graphics... all is superior to Phantom Hourglass. This, sadly, has not the sales it should have. Shame on all the "Zelda fans" that don't buy this game. | |
| IxisNaugus (on 31 March 2010) Finished this today. 100%. All heart containers, all train parts, all upgrades, all force gems, everything. The first Zelda game I've totally finished actually. This was a great game indeed, still preferred Phantom Hourglass but this isn't far off. | |
| st_muscat0 (on 12 March 2010) Finally brought the game, normally a huge Zelda fan, but I just couldn't be bothered picking this up though for some reason. | |
| Buzzi (on 12 March 2010) Even if it looks the game is doing better than PH, the chart for each country show the opposite, it will be difficult for this game to reach 3-3.5m. | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 09 March 2010) Alot of people love the Oracles, and even Minish Cap (but mostly the Oracles..by far), AKA the "Capcom parts". | |
| ElRhodeo (on 09 March 2010) @ roccerfeller This is just a different kind of tedious. Never had so little fun in a Zelda game as when I had to ride that damned train. Looking back, ST is the most disappointing Zelda game I can remember since the Capcom parts. | |
| roccerfeller (on 07 March 2010) the game SHIPPED 2.45 million. You ppl need to get it right...publishers always say what they SELL TO RETAILERS. Either way, this game is amazing. Its way better than Phantom Hourglass. Way better. PH was too tedious. | |
| dark_gh0st_b0y (on 06 February 2010) nice sales! i'll finish Phantom Hourglass and then start this damn, never though Zelda Ds could be this awesome!! : ) | |
| Pineapple (on 31 January 2010) It has shipped 2.450.000 units. Nintendo gives data for sold to retailers, VGChartz' data is for sold to homes. For a game that sells 50k/week, 500K in retailers isn't a lot. Before yelling that VGChartz is off, you really ought to check the data. And "1928", you're making a common mistake. All companies give shipped (sold to retailers) data, not sold. Tracking companies (such as VGChartz, NPD, GFK etc) give sold to homes data. | |
| cromeros (on 31 January 2010) According to Nintendo, TLOZ Spirit Tracks sold 2.450.000 units... Come On Vgchartz... update the data | |
| 1928 (on 29 January 2010) @hunter_alien Well... the newcomer seem to be you. The note clearly says: "Nintendo updates SALES of key games", not shipped as you believe. Yes, TLOZ: ST should be undertracked. | |
| hunter_alien (on 28 January 2010) OMG how annoying newcommers can be... those are shipped to retailers, VGC tracks costumer selltrough ;-) | |
| siavm (on 28 January 2010) This tracking is off by over 1/2 mil. Nintendo says the game sold 2.45 mil. Come on vg get it together. | |
| wiifan (on 28 January 2010) Seriously undertracked according to Nintendo's official data. The game stands at 2.45m units http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=6769 | |
| Cheebee (on 25 January 2010) It's on track to outsell PH. ;-) | |
| Khuutra (on 25 January 2010) My initial prediction of 3.5 million will probably hold out, but it will be a long, slow ride to get there. | |
| novasonic (on 23 January 2010) Just finished it 100%. The most epic final boss in handheld Zelda history! I'd give it a 10, but the spirit tower and train riding bugged me. So 9/10. | |
| IxisNaugus (on 20 January 2010) Just finished the main quest, i'll give it a small break before dominating the entire game. I gotta say i didn't enjoy this as much as Phantom Hourglass but it was still great. The run-up to the final boss was really awesome and the best tracks were definitely saved till the end battles. | |
| Mr. Fister (on 19 January 2010) @smokedhostage: Hah, nice double-entendre. And this is definitely better than Phantom Hourglass, but I wouldn't say that either of those games come close to previous Zelda titles in terms of overall enjoyment. | |
| MasterZack (on 17 January 2010) Not one of the best Zelda. But, its a must buy for me! | |
| SmokedHostage (on 15 January 2010) This game has some of the best tracks in the series. Just wanted to point that out. | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 14 January 2010) I predict about an 800,000 full life span in Japan. Its definitely gonna sell better than Twilight Princess over there. | |
| Aidman (on 12 January 2010) @ BigGumby Hell yes, this isn't a a Zelda game but one of the best zelda game. | |
| BigGumby (on 11 January 2010) Tell me, is this game a must buy? | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 08 January 2010) Look at Spirit Tracks' second and third week in America in comparison to Phantom Hourglass's second and third week. Its doing great. Even in the UK its doing better so far..a little less in Japan so far, but it might have bigger legs than Phantom Hourglass did in Japan in the long run. | |
| Aidman (on 08 January 2010) everything in this game is fixed you can't critic such a perfect game from storyline to graphics and its music dam Koji holy you you are the BEST OF THE BEST. | |
| burgerstein (on 06 January 2010) Better than Phantom Hourglass by far. | |
| Cheebee (on 06 January 2010) It is! Best music in a handheld game I've ever heard. | |
| Nintendogamer (on 05 January 2010) Music is godly in this game. | |
| Cheebee (on 05 January 2010) I finally started on this game. Fabulous. :-D It's actually better than I expected, so far. Also, Zelda is HILARIOUS. XD | |
| Aidman (on 04 January 2010) Another Epic Zelda game wish it sells more and more. | |
| Majin-Tenshinhan (on 04 January 2010) Fantastic game getting fantastic sales. I hope it surpasses Phantom Hourglass sometime down the line in sales, though I doubt it. | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 03 January 2010) I remember the pre-order chart said Spirit Tracks in america should make it past half a mill in a few months with holiday sales on its side. Its already made it that far in 3 weeks worth of sales. | |
| killeryoshis (on 03 January 2010) I hope it outsells Phatom Hourglass. Than I'll really be happy and think my wish was granted | |
| Cheebee (on 03 January 2010) I shoould get to play this game tomorrow... can't frickin' wait! :-D | |
| Nintendogamer (on 03 January 2010) Over 1 Million, deserves it! | |
| killeryoshis (on 03 January 2010) @Eirodeo My favotite part of zelda games is doing dungeons and sidequests. Though we both have diffrent opinions. I tihnk this is the 2nd best Zelda | |
| silverlunar777 (on 03 January 2010) I was taken aback by how amazing this title was seeing as Phantom Hourglass is kinda average. It is now my favorite zelda, I am pretty serious. But yeah i couldn't believe it but this game is better than Minish Cap and even A LttP (my absolute favorite Zelda games). Did i mention the soundtrack is amazing? just go to youtube and check it out. | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 02 January 2010) *much | |
| Roar_Of_War (on 02 January 2010) Getting out of a dungeon and spending some time on sidequests is exactly what you can do in ST. You may have it on a straight line, but it doesn't truly effect the gameplay of the sidequests nor the full explorationof the game. I'd rather take exploration on a linear path than a non-linear path and no exploration. At least unlocking optional tracks makes it muh less linear. It just doesn't truly change the gameplay. It only feels like it should, but it doesn't. My favorite parts of Zelda are dungeons AND exploration, yet I can still enjoy this game more than some other Zelda titles. Why is this? Because it does have quite decent exploration, and good for a DS game. | |
| ElRhodeo (on 02 January 2010) @ killeryoshis, Roar_Of_War Interesting... still I strongly disagree. Sure, there are secret tracks to unlock, but travelling is a passive experience. I love an overworld where behind every ledge, tree or mountain something secret is hidden. And I love being able to walk around on my own pace and absorbing the atmosphere. Take TP's Eldin Bridge at night - it's just beautiful. in ST all you have is some wallpapers. Woods, lake, wasteland. I suppose it depends on what's you favorite part in Zelda games. I guess you like the dungeons best? Cause I don't. I've always been happy to get out of a dungeon again and to spend some time on side quests. | |
| killeryoshis (on 31 December 2009) @EIRhodeo I think that the overwrold is just a waste of space in Zelda games. Because its empty really. The only one that was good as Wind Waker. I love traveling by boat! | |
| ElRhodeo (on 30 December 2009) The game is NOT so good. I'm only 2/3 in, but I am so annoyed by the dreadful train travel... guys, don't you all love the sense of exploration, of a huge, detailed overworld in a Zelda game?!? Boats, trains, aeroplanes... it's all just an excuse for them to skip actually designing 80% of the overworld. A shame. Cause the dungeons are really good, sidequests are nice... but I can't be bothered to solve them, cause of the damned train. | |
| killeryoshis (on 28 December 2009) The game is so good. NSMBW can't keep me away from it | |
| madmaniac (on 28 December 2009) finished 2 temples, keep it coming :p | |
| SmokedHostage (on 28 December 2009) This game is fantastic.. so far. I love it. :D | |
| ElRhodeo (on 25 December 2009) Actually it is pretty much on par with PH's first two weeks, saleswise... let's see how it opens in Japan. | |
| NolSinkler (on 25 December 2009) Great game, not easy (like the past 3 major Zelda games have been), decent sales. I bet this has some legs; 3 million lifetime sales? Maybe. | |
| Khuutra (on 24 December 2009) Pretty solid second week! | |
| Buzzi (on 20 December 2009) Thank you Khuutra! I have just finished the second dungeon, I'm amazed from this game, every hour it surprises me. | |
| Khuutra (on 19 December 2009) @Buzzi: It felt longer than Phantom Hourglass, and it's definitely more difficult and more entertaining while it does last. | |
| hunter_alien (on 19 December 2009) Better opening then what I was expecting :-) | |
| Buzzi (on 19 December 2009) @Khuutra How much does it last? If you have played PH, is this longer? As of now I like this a bit more than PH, but the first 30 minutes I had a bad felling... | |
| zarx (on 18 December 2009) i'm calling it new DS by the end of 2010 | |
| IxisNaugus (on 17 December 2009) Bigger opening in Others? Am i seeing things? Nobody stab me for this but... i'm about 7 hours into the game or so and as of now i prefer Phantom Hourglass in all honesty. Things may change when i complete this though. | |
| --OkeyDokey-- (on 17 December 2009) Great start in Others! I've been seeing lots of ads for this game and they're making me want it. But I'd need to buy a new DS ;_; | |
| Khuutra (on 17 December 2009) Just beat it. Easily in my running for Game of the Year. | |
| Aidman (on 17 December 2009) Nice debut and the game is a masterpiece. | |
| c0rd (on 17 December 2009) Ah, finally got to play it, so far it's definitely better than Phantom Hourglass. I love that flute! ...Unfortunately, the traveling is a chore, and the game moves as slow as ever. Seems like the recent Zelda's all have major pacing issues, I really hope they fix this for the Wii version. | |
| puffy (on 13 December 2009) Game is awesome, so much better than Phantom Hourglass and I'm actually hoping to see the train and this Hyrule to return. | |
| nordlead (on 11 December 2009) @gearbox I think it works great. use the L button to pull out weapons, as it works a lot better. to each their own though. | |
| nordlead (on 11 December 2009) my copy should arrive at the end of this week!! | |
| IxisNaugus (on 10 December 2009) My copy finally arrived!! ^______^ | |
| Gearbox (on 10 December 2009) i dont like how u can ONLY do stuff with the stylis... likes whats the point in the d pad... | |
| SmokedHostage (on 10 December 2009) I'm hoping this title will reach 5.5 million. Also, I'm not getting it until X-mas. | |
| IxisNaugus (on 09 December 2009) This is looking to be a definite improvement over Phantom Hourglass according to many reviews so i hope it sells more than that game. My copy should arrive either today or tomorrow, can't wait! :) | |
| Cheebee (on 09 December 2009) I'm guessing it can reach 5 million too. 4 Million is pretty much a given, 5 maybe. Who knows, could be even more. :-) | |
| atma998 (on 08 December 2009) How much this game can do LTD? My guess is 5 million. | |
| wiisley64 (on 08 December 2009) A new Zelda game is always a day one purchase for me | |
| I like Bacon (on 08 December 2009) Loving it so far! | |
| IxisNaugus (on 07 December 2009) Pal release is this friday. Man i cannot wait for it to arrive through the post, Tin and all! ^______^ | |
| koyotecat (on 03 December 2009) I wasn't that excited before but I REALLY am now! | |
| Salnax (on 06 November 2009) Yeah, why does PAL always get the cool stuff? *Looks at every release date ever* Oh | |
| puffy (on 30 October 2009) PAL boxart is all sorts of awesome | |
| Aidman (on 04 October 2009) So exited of what the multiplayer will offer. | |
| Blacksaber (on 04 October 2009) I thought someone was going take down my banner by now... | |
| --OkeyDokey-- (on 02 October 2009) My mic doesn't work so I probably won't be able to play this game. | |
| RCTjunkie (on 17 September 2009) okay. Thanks, norlead. | |
| nordlead (on 17 September 2009) Nintendo published a list of Fall/Winter titles a few days ago and this was on it. | |
| RCTjunkie (on 16 September 2009) Wait, when was the release date announced? | |
| cromeros (on 16 September 2009) Ohhh... amazing...I can't wait... | |
| Smeags (on 16 September 2009) That banner makes me smile. :-) | |
| RCTjunkie (on 11 August 2009) So excited! This is the first year where I asked for more DS games then Wii games. | |
| Asriel (on 22 July 2009) Is this out this year, worldwide? | |
| Wii_Master (on 10 July 2009) can't wait | |
| sjhillsa (on 09 June 2009) I'll grab this one, nice trailer. | |
| Sherlock99 (on 07 June 2009) will zelda have a online battle mode? | |
| MasterZack (on 21 May 2009) WOW this game has already 4 owners!! | |
| Slavedemonxi (on 16 April 2009) Phantom Hourglass was amazing. This is a first day purchase, c'mon Nintendo! | |
| aaasss555 (on 01 April 2009) it looks really nice... will see if it has a good gameplay mode.... | |
| scottie (on 28 March 2009) Looks really good. I think it's about time I get round to getting a DS | |
| __XBrawlX__ (on 26 March 2009) ... I think I now need to go and get PH along with this... :) | |
| nordlead (on 26 March 2009) I'm pre-ordering this as soon as it is available on amazon :-) | |
| AngelFire18 (on 26 March 2009) I might not own now but I sure as hell will later. | |
| highwaystar101 (on 25 March 2009) so two people own this game... despite it still being in development | |
| 11ht11 (on 25 March 2009) my review: 1000/10 best game ever! ;-) | |
| PullusPardus (on 25 March 2009) Puffy pretty much owns a time machine. | |
| MANUELF (on 25 March 2009) WOW, this game already has 2 owners | |
| damkira (on 25 March 2009) lol reminds me of Death Note.. Damn You Kira! | |
| Nintendo Fan Girl (on 25 March 2009) X3 WHEN??? ;-; | |
| Cheebee (on 25 March 2009) They better release a trailer soon! :) | |
| koopatrooper (on 25 March 2009) damn u damkira i just added this game and wanted to be the first one posting here! | |
| damkira (on 25 March 2009) Nice...... I wonder when a trailer of this game is posted? |
