| Salnax (on 08 January 2012) 7.49 million combined. | |
| atma998 (on 02 January 2012) 4.23M | |
| atma998 (on 20 July 2011) 4 million! | |
| spurgeonryan (on 02 July 2011) Wow! I never played it but the skiing levels look hella fun! | |
| primogen18 (on 30 December 2010) almost 4 million | |
| Alex_The_Hedgehog (on 12 March 2010) 3 million! | |
| italo244 (on 11 March 2010) 5,46 combined. | |
| primogen18 (on 21 February 2010) with the winter games still going on, this will have beastly sales because I see the advertisements all the time. I wish other Wii 3rd party games had 1/ 16th the advertisement budget as this has, but oh well. Sega has no reason to complain about success on Wii.. too bad they STILL are (along with capcom). the last companies that should be complaining, but oh well. | |
| brute (on 21 February 2010) I say it will pass 5 mil, has a shot at 6, but who knows what kind of legs it could have. | |
| marcianito (on 12 February 2010) would do 4 mil the most | |
| italo244 (on 19 January 2010) I think will hit 5m till the end of this year | |
| llewdebkram (on 14 January 2010) Almost 3 million and I've only just realised the games don't start for another month. | |
| Beuli2 (on 13 January 2010) The game will probably sell more during the Olimpic games, if they advertise it well. | |
| TopCat8 (on 04 January 2010) Week 11 is its biggest week yet. That's crazy! | |
| Polarimetric (on 30 December 2009) Won't even touch the predecessor, which is kind of a shame, because this is a much better game than the first. There's less variety, but it also seems more responsive, the games are longer and have more substance, and the Dream events that harken back to old Sonic/Mario courses are just plain awesome. Had a friend over today and we played this for five hours straight. I expect 4.1-4.4 million lifetime. Japan's sales are way too weak for this to go anywhere near 5, but Others sales can probably pick up enough of the slack to get it above 4 million. There will be a little bump as Vancouver 2010 hype heats up, but it won't retain strength long enough to hit Christmas 2010. | |
| teknohick (on 28 December 2009) should have really nice legs over the next few months, pretty good sales overall considering the Olympics are over a month away still | |
| stof (on 27 December 2009) @ SaviorX - because it's Christmas time. | |
| SaviorX (on 24 December 2009) Geez, how in the world did Week 10 become the greatest sales week like that... | |
| Alex_The_Hedgehog (on 24 December 2009) 2 million! And nice increase :D | |
| marcianito (on 24 December 2009) OMG look at american sales, it exploded this week | |
| Majin-Tenshinhan (on 24 December 2009) Holy crap, that's an incredible jump week-to-week in the Americas. | |
| guiduc (on 20 December 2009) Sega's latest title is really lucky to get those sales. It's fun, but not a great game. If it helps Sega create more games and put more confidence into the Wii, this game's the best for that. | |
| chris_wing (on 20 December 2009) Mario and Sonic share the gold, again. As glad as I am to see a Wii game sell well, why can't Excitebots or Boomblox: Bash Party sell even half as much as this. IMHO those games are much better "games" then this. | |
| kopstudent89 (on 19 December 2009) try 2.8 mil | |
| marcianito (on 17 December 2009) 2 million by the end of the year | |
| SaviorX (on 17 December 2009) @palancas7 Its a beast! Run!!! One of the few games lucky enough to rebound upwards in Japanese sales. Few games pull that and get away with it. | |
| Smeags (on 17 December 2009) M-my goodness... the legs on this thing... | |
| Black_Herox (on 17 December 2009) Should reach above 2 million by end pf the year. | |
| oliist (on 17 December 2009) Next week will be even bigger. :-) My guesses are JP 15k US 175k Others 205k | |
| palancas7 (on 17 December 2009) @SaviorX: look at week 9 LOL | |
| Majin-Tenshinhan (on 13 December 2009) I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It won't do as well as it's predecessor, but that doesn't mean it's a slouch. Won't be surprised if it reaches 5 million, though I see it landing somewhere between 3-4 million. | |
| IxisNaugus (on 13 December 2009) Doing best in Others i see. | |
| marcianito (on 12 December 2009) better this week than black friday's | |
| SaviorX (on 12 December 2009) My God, Week 8 in Others is the biggest sales yet. | |
| ash3336 (on 07 December 2009) 100k+ weeks in the first 10 weeks. Awesome. | |
| stimpi13 (on 07 December 2009) the sales in others "awesome" | |
| alfredofroylan (on 06 December 2009) This was a quick million seller | |
| mexitalrish (on 27 November 2009) i am still impressed to see how well this game has held up week after week. i guessed before this game came out that it wouldn't have a huge opening but would be a survivor in the following weeks, just like the first one | |
| marcianito (on 27 November 2009) million seller next week, not bad! | |
| kopstudent89 (on 27 November 2009) Black Friday should triple its sales in NA, i expect huge numbers next week | |
| SaviorX (on 27 November 2009) Million seller next week. | |
| italo244 (on 21 November 2009) I dont think the same way. The olympic winter games in Vancouver not begin yet, and the marketing will will be larger when the olympic games begin. | |
| Majin-Tenshinhan (on 21 November 2009) This won't even get close to the first one, but that's not to say it won't be profitable and a success. I see this doing atleast 3 million on just Wii. | |
| kopstudent89 (on 17 November 2009) i think NA's numbers are overtracked | |
| Cheebee (on 13 November 2009) Nice. Should blaze past a million in no time. HVS should've put Mario in The Conduit, it would've sold like crazy. :p | |
| marcianito (on 06 November 2009) wow already showing legs!!! | |
| Pineapple (on 05 November 2009) My number disappeared. It was supposed to be "a freaking 50 percentage increase". That's a lot, even for a game of this kind. Week 3 dropped, though. I expected it to stay dead on even. | |
| Killergran (on 05 November 2009) @Pineapple - That's not very uncommon for games like this. They usually release late in the week and the people that want this kind of game are usually not the "must buy first day" type of people. | |
| Pineapple (on 04 November 2009) A freaking percentage increase from week 1 to week 2. Considering the proximity to christmas, this title is starting out as well as the first. | |
| palancas7 (on 02 November 2009) @O-D-C: no | |
| Khuutra (on 02 November 2009) IT HAS BEGUN | |
| O-D-C (on 01 November 2009) This is a Sega published game, but do you get Club Nintendo coins if you get it? | |
| Boneitis (on 30 October 2009) @ scottie It already is advertised. | |
| SmokedHostage (on 29 October 2009) Talk about legs.. better second week sales than the first. | |
| spurgeonryan (on 29 October 2009) Well if you read what is coming up you will see that it is close to a half a million now! Finally sega has got themselves another hit. Let the recession end and keep putting out good games next year and see how goo d they do. Madworld and others will do alot better I think. not those games particularly but 3rd party games in general. | |
| Fleeman (on 27 October 2009) another easy 10 million between the wii and ds | |
| Ratix240sx (on 24 October 2009) My friend picked this up, lots of fun. | |
| scottie (on 24 October 2009) gearbox - it will be advertised a lot in the lead up till christmas. It's too early now | |
| ganondorf7799 (on 23 October 2009) much better than the 1st one | |
| Alex_The_Hedgehog (on 23 October 2009) Good Start! | |
| sep85dd (on 23 October 2009) good star, but it can do much better, i think. | |
| Gearbox (on 22 October 2009) if they advertise this it will sell but i havent seen anythingg | |
| adam84 (on 20 October 2009) got it, it's great. i like the sports better in this game than the original. well done sega, good job. | |
| Black_Herox (on 15 October 2009) @primogen18: If you refering to IGN, then I suggest you look at other reviews. I also don't get the whole ''they shouldn't make a sequel'' thing. The game (and this will too) sold milliions, why wouldn't you make more of them? Isn't that what Nintendo was doing with Wii sports resort, Wii Fit Plus, Braing traning sequels and Mario Party 8? | |
| primogen18 (on 15 October 2009) I heard this was overall just not as high quality of a game as the first. That includes graphics, so who knows. It'll sell like crazy I am sure, I just hope SEGA doesn't keep going to quick sequel cash-ins. | |
| TheConduit (on 20 September 2009) Wonder if the sales will surpass, match or fall short of the first mario a Sonic Olympic games. On one hand the normal Olympics are more popular than Winter. On the other summer olympics are more popular because more nations can compete because of the nature of events so people may enjoy playing winter sports more for a game. Plus after the success of the first game Sega has put a lot more into the franchise to ensure the continued success. | |
| shizzlee (on 04 May 2009) They should have a standalone with just the game by itself, or a bundle with both the balance board and WM+ :D | |
| Aphasique (on 29 April 2009) Mario & Sonic: the new best friends !?? | |
| naruto3336 (on 13 February 2009) The graphics look amazing in the trailer. Must buy this! | |
| Smeags (on 12 February 2009) Feel the rhythm! Feel the rhyme! Get on up, its bobsled time! COOL RUNNINGS! | |
| oliist (on 12 February 2009) No more hesitating. I need the Balance Board. Sonic/Mario + Ski Alpine + Balance Board = Ultimate Win. |
