Over 60 inter-galactic Gladiators, some human, some cyborg, some machine have come from all corners of the known galaxy to the planet VERIDIA, to take part in the ultimate Gladiatorial Tournament, 'XS XS is an immersive combat experience. You enter an arena with several other competitors, or Shield Fighters and fight to the death. The arena can be just about any enclosed area and is populated by a number of hostile drones, mobile turrets and other similar hazards. All Shield Fighters have their own unique fighting styles, weaponry and "hard light" body shield for primary protection. This shield takes the brunt of indirect hits but is weakened by direct hits taken to the head or body. They must be depleted before a competitor can be killed. Secondary means of protection are quick reactions, good strategy and your kick-ass weaponry. The rules are simple ... there aren't any. Anything goes - no etiquette, no mercy, no prisoners. Your goal, to survive the 20 arenas and become the last remaining competitor, the S U P R E M E G L A D I A T O R - "Shield Fighter Lord" - and take home that "most serious prize".
