@ spurgeonryan - but it was Acclaim who owned and produced Turok.

but that is waht activision does with its game franchicses. tht is what they have always done. Turok, tony hawk, etc.. yeah I know small example list. I cnnot think of any other way they could make this game better or change it either, except for maybe orchestra hero...but that would probaly only sell on the wii for old people

its obvious why this one isnt selling... the market is too saturated with these stupid games. The DS versions are the same, it's what happens when 3 or 4 come out in a single year on each platform, overkill and I game up on this series all together. Of course this sold more on Wii, higher install base and the audience is perfect for GH.
J.U.N.O (on 25 February 2010)
Somehow im glad this actually isnt selling as good as previous ones. They released too many of them in so short time and the excitement faded.
--OkeyDokey-- (on 07 February 2010)
All three versions combined only sold half of what Guitar Hero III sold on Wii.

LOL. Neve seen a franchise decline so fast.
Smeags (on 21 January 2010)
Adjusted down... reaching a million will be harder than expected...
kopstudent89 (on 21 January 2010)
Yeah one of the worst box arts i've ever seen. Plus they released Vanhalen, GH5, GH metallica and GH world tour in a one year span. Thats too much
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 19 January 2010)
no, the reason is that it's very expensive and for most people is more or less the same game

and also, they are releasing new Guitar Hero games way too often which usually kills most successful franchises
hazmatkr3w (on 12 January 2010)
too bad this didnt sell well, its the best guitar hero
ash3336 (on 05 January 2010)
I think the cover was the reason for less people buying this and more people buying beatles. I mean, look at it.
Smeags (on 26 December 2009)
Looks like it'll inch its way up to a million after all. Man, Guitar Hero sure has seen better days...
ganondorf7799 (on 17 December 2009)
Wii version is the best selling one

VGchartz should write an article about the decline of the music game genre. It really died so early in its life
primogen18 (on 08 November 2009)
This isn't selling because it's GH. It was a huge cash cow until they started spitting these games out like crazy, now they are just nailing the final nails in the coffin with a few more numbered games and spin offs.
J.U.N.O (on 22 October 2009)
Its started to outsell the 360 version. It will probably surpass it in the long run.
--OkeyDokey-- (on 04 October 2009)
And it's barely outselling the PS3 version. Wii owners have moved on to Rock Band?
primogen18 (on 27 September 2009)
huh this should be picking up in sales, its behind the 360 version, an odd thing for a wii version of GH...
ash3336 (on 20 September 2009)
This is an awesome game. It really shows people how FCs are dealt with.
TheConduit (on 30 August 2009)
This game is call GH5 but I call it lame date cause if youre playing this its your date but Im tommy Talrico and I get hot dates
