Metroid33slayer (on 20 January 2012)
Remember getting this in 2007 it was an enjoyable game with the most hilarious looking villain called ne ne. Basically a 70 year old man pinky purple skin.
Iveyboi (on 22 September 2011)
Got this today. The music is sooooo good!
lurkerwithnosoul (on 16 April 2011)
Finally, EMEAA numbers.
stitch55555 (on 10 January 2011)
is a fairly simple game but it is much more fun than others as lost odyssey
Bagaren85 (on 01 January 2011)
Good sales! Good game (Like 7/10 in my book) Pal sales should top 700k
WhiteX (on 20 May 2010)
Should be on wii
Xen (on 01 January 2010)
I am now an owner of this game, only $10.
Hobson (on 29 November 2009)
I wonder when a true sequel on 360 will come out
Zizzla_Rachet (on 31 August 2009)
Mistwalker had no brand recognition...LMAO...Ok as far as games go...sure..as far as legacy...you can't say the same thing
solidpumar (on 26 June 2009)
@andrewclear
Even being new IP. Dragon Ball Art direction and style plus huge marketing is the reason it sold well, particularly in Japan.
areseris (on 17 June 2009)
any idea why the euro numbers were never collected/uoloaded?
Cactus (on 25 May 2009)
Very underrated game.
shoujo-gamer (on 08 April 2009)
Got this for $10 at Fred Meyer. One of the the best deals I've had.
dsister44 (on 19 March 2009)
this game is awesome but i still like lost odyssey better. although i still love all the jrpgs on my xbox :)
andrewclear (on 08 March 2009)
This sold good for a new IP, as well as Lost Odyssey. Gotta give Mist Walker credit, since they came out with no brand recognition, and have the best selling JRPG of the current generation. And from the look of it, only ff13 has a chance of really beating it (unless Star Ocean catches fire, or PS3/PC users buy the hell out of Last Remnant).

This game was good, and I am hoping they make another for the 360. But it's looking like they are migrating the series to the DS. Blue Dragon Plus, takes place 1 year later. I know BDP isn't a true sequel, but they are also developing another Blue Dragon for the DS that takes place 2 years after the original, and has the same style of play as the 360. Could that be the true sequel to the game? Will the 360 see another?
Bitmap Frogs (on 27 February 2009)
Egghead, ToV is still missing euro numbers. Second half 2009 for europe...
Egghead (on 23 February 2009)
Wow all of a sudden this hasnt sold bad, im guessing Others sales are much higher, and even at 610k on its own its done fairly well

Now if only ToV could do the same...
Picko (on 09 February 2009)
@ outlawauron:

Haha ... that just made my day :D
outlawauron (on 07 February 2009)
@ Picko

It's been sighted to be in a "Military Appreciation Bundle", which doesn't mean much as far as in sales but it's still hilarious.
Gabriel84 (on 29 January 2009)
yea, it's 7 quid now
Picko (on 13 January 2009)
Surprising boost this week. I would assume heavy discounting or perhaps a little bundling.
c0rd (on 07 January 2009)
$13 on newegg, no tax for NY, and free shipping. Couldn't resist.

Unfortunately I won't get to play the 360 until the end of feb, but glad I finally have it.
DanBal76 (on 22 December 2008)
Yes, it's not a Final Fantasy killer (not even close) and yes, it could have been better, but i'm liking this game very much. IMO, it's only second to Lost Odyssey on 360 list of JRPGS.
Barozi (on 21 December 2008)
@piggychan
Of course it's no proof for anything, but it's reasonable to assume over 200k units sold in Others.
Bagaren85 (on 20 December 2008)
Not so bad sales, after all.
Good game, far from great. But a nice welcome from ''new'' Squaresoft. Mistwalker does what, if not as god, but still something that i cant see anymore from another studio with name Enix in.
piggychan (on 12 December 2008)
the problem with gamercards is there is no way you can tell that these people bought a copy 2nd hand

but anyway its selling a few thousand a week which isn't bad
Barozi (on 05 December 2008)
Well there are 53000 American users from mygamercard.net, who own this game.
20000 from UK and 20000 from Germany/France/Spain/Italy.
You can usually multiply the mygamercard numbers by 5 and you'll see almost correct sales (in most cases)

Not the best way to determine the sales of a game, but it's the best you can do by yourself.
marcoberry3 (on 04 December 2008)
Hey Barozi, how do you know about the 200K in Others?
Barozi (on 04 December 2008)
this game has at least 0.20m sales in Others.
So approximately 700k. That's good !
Picko (on 15 October 2008)
Finished it. It really didn't deserve a lot of the criticism it received. It is a shame gaming has become so cynical.
Picko (on 15 September 2008)
On the final disc. I've enjoyed the game so far, its not as good as LO but it's been very enjoyable all the same. Gameplay is solid (and grinding is made rather easy). Characterisation is weak (particularly in comparison to LO) and Shu still annoys the hell out of me.
ACEtheVAMPIRE (on 13 August 2008)
500 000
cool
Picko, play with Jap voices. much better
Picko (on 10 August 2008)
Purchased this a couple of days ago. I'm enjoying it so far, the battle system is interesting enough that there's an incentive to get into battles. However Shu annoys the hell out of me.
Bagaren85 (on 01 July 2008)
yeah, sales are def higher in Europe, with low price now. But max 110K, likely.
oliist (on 23 June 2008)
The only character i really loved and cared about was Marumaro. The others were way to unemotinally to get me really involved in their individual story, behaviour etc.
But overall a very polished game.Hopefully the next entries in the franchise(on DS & Xbox360)will be even better games.
Oemenia (on 16 June 2008)
It hasnt been updated since launch almost, but dont expect much more than 100k, hardcore games sell poorly there.

But yeah, the game isnt as bad as people think it is, its a big adventure and theres a lot to see on the way
Reineldinho (on 12 June 2008)
Only 0'06 in Europe? Really? Almost all my friends has it (and they don't like rpg specially)

Who knows....
outlawauron (on 14 May 2008)
Got for $20 through Amazon!

:)
WiiBox3 (on 14 May 2008)
Just picked it up new for $20. So far I am impressed....(2 hours in) Now I understand why everyone complains about Lost Odyssey's load times before battles. This game jumps right in. Mistwalker needs to learn to share more tech between dev. teams.
Oemenia (on 04 May 2008)
It sold well in Japan, as much as some of the best selling JAP PS3 games. Well established franchise there and Mistwalker is going to cash-in well with a DS game.

NA sales are VERY dissapointing, and EU sales need to be updated. Its not a bad game, its got a big world to explore, and while the character suck, at least the combat is not bad
squall747 (on 05 April 2008)
@MANUELF Well not for Lost Odyssey and that was the better rpg. I think making a rpg with 12 year olds is kinda stupid. Regardless I still thought it was decent though.
MANUELF (on 05 April 2008)
Impossible!!!! Sold more in Japan than in America
jpelles (on 30 January 2008)
The game takes a LONG time to get interesting story wise. But I love the gameplay.

I think if they make a sequal it could be really good. Especially if they do what Xenosaga did and make them look more adult and less Anime like.
NSS7 (on 30 January 2008)
Can this compare to FF Series
jpelles (on 09 January 2008)
Very solid RPG. Takes a while to pick up though story wise.

I hope this does better as more people pick up 360's.

Maybe because my hype bubble was bursed by reviews but I really like this game. Gameplay was great, and story has lots of potential. A sequal would definetly be a lot better as this established an awesome base.
ITBobby (on 03 January 2008)
Very god game.
8/10. Disc 3 is great.
skyer7 (on 03 January 2008)
AMAZING!!
360Rocks (on 03 December 2007)
HOLY CRAP THIS GAME IS GOOD! I was bewilderingly surprised as I played through this title the depth and potential this franchise may have.

The game is like Pokemon meets Fable.

I had played the XBL Demo which was fairly boring and confusing, but the real game I bought in hopes of a difference, really surprised me. I'm lovin' it, and can't wait to get back to it to play through more avenues of the storyline.
thelulaby (on 01 December 2007)
This game was very disappointing... I expected a lot more, I mean the game offers NOTHING new to the genre and the story is just boring and of course gameplay gets repetitive very quickly... the only good part about it is the music which isn't always THAT good anyway
friedtofu (on 14 November 2007)
Great game. Truly better than the demo could convey.
areseris (on 16 October 2007)
Why isn't this game selling more?
Lost tears of Kain (on 08 October 2007)
good game, looking more forward to LO but good game overall
boo (on 06 October 2007)
dont listen to the criticts this game is nothing short to spectacular
Wokisan (on 04 October 2007)
I enjoyed it quite a bit. So reminiscent of some of the older Final Fantasy games which (especially VII) were my favorites. Nothing new but very polished and enjoyable.
Globox82 (on 11 September 2007)
CRAP!
swordplay (on 07 September 2007)
I didn't like the game, but my niece loved it.
Globox82 (on 06 September 2007)
Buahaha what a FLOP! Japanese system seller, so called FF killer! o waith actually Lost Odyssey is FF killer with homosexual character with naked belly.
Alexander22Rednaxela (on 01 September 2007)
Very strong franchise. FF should take note. :)
