Game Overview

Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation Portable. It is a spin-off title in the Disgaea series and stars the Prinnies as the main character.

The player is tasked by Etna to track down the ingredients for the Ultra Dessert. She gives the 1,000 member squad ten hours to track it down, threatening to kill them all off should they fail, and issues a Prinny out with a scarf that prevents it from exploding when worn. When this Hero Prinny is killed, another of the 1,000 Prinnies is sent forth wearing the scarf.

Plus everyone is forgetting about
digital sales. I bought this game for
20 dollars on PSN when it was on sale I
believe. Most people did as well
(better than paying 29.99 everywhere
else). I know that they probably made
more profit with this game being in
digital form than in umd.

According to weekly sales It's sold
about 31.5k yet It's not shown here
which is wierd. 82k for Japan and US
isn't bad for a PSP game these days at
full price as I have never seen this
game lower then $36ish (amazon).

@AJ There are a few people on this site
that have the game....I mean I know it
didn't sell a lot since it was a niche
game based on a niche series but i still
think overall it would be close to
70-100k with both of the data added in.

Great game! Where is US and Europe data?

Because it bombed, why else. Not
surprising, especially since they are
charging $50 for this at most places by
me. What a joke.
