Summary

A downloadable version of the classic Nintendo game, provided through Nintendo's Virtual Console service. (NES version.)

Wario is filling the forest with bombs, monsters, and goblins. Toad must try to catch and line-up these items to eliminate them. Similar to tetris, you'll run the field to catch pieces to earn big points. When a level is completed, another, more challenging, level has to be cleared. Tackle the challenge solo or challenge a friend. Help Toad save the forest in Wario's Woods

Remember Toad, our little mushroom friend who made his first appearance in Super Mario Bros. 2™?  Well, this time he is the star of the game!  Control Toad as he scrambles along the bottom of the screen picking up monsters and bombs and arranging them vertically, horizontally, and diagonally to clear the screen of enemies.

This game features four modes of play: basic, lesson, time race and two-player competitive.  If you like puzzle games like Tetris™ and Dr. Mario™, you will definitely love this one!

Great game. I had not played it before until it came out on VC. If you like puzzle games it is pretty addicting.
