A random dungeon generated FF game with old school remixed FF music throughout and FF classes for chocobo? Love it... this is the game that PS 1 Torneko:Last Hope SHOULD have been. Wonderful game.

Don't be fooled by the cutesy cover. This game is highly enjoyable for adult rpg gamers. It's a roguelike dungeon crawler though it's not as punishing and difficult as the old-school western roguelikes (those have permadeath) or the japanese roguelikes like Shiren, Baroque or Izuna. I started playing this yesterday and had a lot of fun with it.

As someone who is jaded with jrpgs in general, I thought this game was a refreshing experience for me (compared to the standard jrpg fare). As much as the Wii gets bashed for it's "crap" jrpg library, I think this game might be better (for me anyway) than any jrpg I played on the 360. Combat in roguelikes is much more streamlined than in most jrpgs. Fast, turn-based combat. No having to transition to a battle screen, you fight right there in the field. And battles are quick. And leveling up, increasing job levels, finding new gear and upgrading the gear you found is so much more fun when battles don't seem like a chore.
