How is it a worthless attacking Sony statement? Such pro-PS3 things are posted practically every post around here and nobody minds.

And it's not attacking Sony, just my views. I dont think Sony will price drop and they're losing a lot of money. And the Arcade will definitely be $99 before the PS3 is.

Is this a harbinger of things to come? Will a future permanent $99 Xbox 360 Arcade fly off the shelves for Microsoft? I believe so. Microsoft did not price cut this year (not really) so you better believe they will lop at least $50 off next year. Meanwhile with Sony reporting large losses in the gaming division I dont expect them to cut price in 2010.

Maybe not newbie. Arcade may be dropped for the elite to go under 200 dollars. But is a worthless attack. You were suppose to talk about a walmart deal. Not sonys financials. And you really dont know how much they re losing. Transitions are expensive and Sony said the expect PS3 to be profitable before FY '10. That gives them half a year to lower costs more for another price drop.

halil - Yes walmart had two of these ps3 deals and not much of a bump.

I can speculate however I want, get over and leave the thread if you dont like it. You're only mad because it was speculation against the PS3, if I had posted the same thing against 360 you would not be protesting.

but this thread was not about 360 to outsell ps3 or ps3 to outsell 360 this thread is about an offer on 360 which is an awesome but y fanboys jumpin and start talking about shit outselling consoles each other

Well when I see those thread they backup with reasons, while on the other hand there's threads that don't have any reasons backing up their claims, that when they're called trolls.

And yeah Sony aren't going to price cut when they're already had just recently, so everyone knows Sony aren't going to do it again anytime soon! So really it was not necessary to put that Sony statement in your thread.
