Pretty close to what I expected, really. I don't think going weekly has affected the accuracy much.

Well, X360's sales were a little bit better than I expected. It seems that Microsoft and Nintendo are going to fight for the American market for the next months. Sony, at least until a AAA game release, will continue selling not very well with PS3 and PSP.

Ps3,360 seems to high and psp seems right. Wii and DS really depends on supply.

The numbers seem too high judging from the february data ,even with one more week .In any case we will see in some hours .

Even with my admitted bias, only the Wii and the DS numbers can be considered as just right. Only Nintendo's consoles can legitimately say that they sell out every unit they ship. As for the others, I agree. Seems a bit high, especially for the 360 number.  

Nice job, entroper, I did my own calculations to compare it to actual NPD numbers later, but I love your formatting better and for taking the initiative to make a whole thread about it.

The 360 numbers might seem high, but remember that GRAW2 launched in the first week of March, and Crackdown launched two weeks before, maybe these moved some additional consoles.  Honestly the sales aren't that much higher than they were in February, only a few thousand more per week.

If you notice..with the Xbox 360 numbers..the frontpage increases are generally between 80,000 and 120,000 per week.  Xbox 360 generally has 60-70% of sales in the USA...so..essentially sales of 60,000 or so in the USA are equal (generally, and theoretically) to 100,000 sales/week worldwide.

 In weeks when 360 sells 80,000 in the USA, I imagine it hits 120k worldwide...while slow USA weeks dip worldwide totals into 80k range.  For holidays, these numbers grow enormously as the USA market for the Xbox brand always has huge spikes in Nov-December, and when Halo is released.

hardware numbers may be right but the software total numbers are flawed because they only include the top 50.  The individual software totals are ok, but for example for ps2 total software numbers = god of war 2 which is obviously not true.
