M$ has not lost anything. They've sold over 144K XBox 360 this week alone. I don't call that losing. They sold more GTA IV worldwide on the 360 then on the PS3. Even with Europe kissing Sony's $#%, M$'s 360 is still doing very well in Europe. There's no denying that. The Wii, on the other hand is destroying the 360 and PS3 worldwide. That's a fact. Please let me know when the PS3 has caught the Wii in Europe. The PS3 is going to lose the overall WAR to the Wii if it outsells it for the next 2 holidays. How many Wii and DS titles are in the Top 20 compared to the PS3? Nuff said.

Also, in terms of time, the PS3 is selling the same, if not better now to how the PS2 sold. This probably means that it will sell over it's 10 year cycle around 140 000 000 units. Now, do u honestly think that the Wii, [I love Nintendo too], or the 360 can sell this much, or last another 8 years?
You got to admit that Sony has an awesome business plan and with the PS3, it has a very future proof piece of hardware, much more so than the PS2!
I think without a doubt that both Nintendo and Microsoft will also release a new platform early and before Sony again, mmm...nah mate, Sony has too much momentum! They are also changing the way we play games, just like N. Time will reveal all though :p
