The Rarest and Most Expensive PlayStation 3 Games
by Chris Arnone, posted on 23 September 2011 / 5,104 ViewsWhile VGChartz may be the place to go to find information on video game sales, another site called PriceCharting.com prides itself on following the secondary market, tracking how frequently and for how much used games (and other products) are going for. Their blog writer JJ Hendricks recently sent along a link to their most recent post which I'm sure you'll find as informative and curious as I did: the rarest and most expensive PlayStation 3 games in existence.
What took the number one spot? Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Fortune Hunter Edition. This super-limited edition was available only as a giveaway to a lucky 200 fans who played the multiplayer beta leading up to the game's release. How much will it set you back? $3,700 USD if it's brand new and $1,050 if it's used.
What else made the list? (in order)
- NBA Elite 11
- Fallout 3 - Survival Edition
- SOCOM 4 - Full Deployment Edition
- Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm - Limited Edition
- Demon's Souls - Deluxe Edition
- Assassin's Creed II - Master Assassin's Edition
