'CityVille' Usurps FarmVille for Largest Facebook Game or App

Being that CityVille is only a month old, it's a mean feat to attract 84 million players which Zynga's newest game did over the weekend. FarmVille, Zynga's other game, took nine months to reach 83.8 million players. But CityVille is not as 'sticky' as FarmVille, in other words, it's not as good at retaining repeat players as FarmVille. Only 20% of players return to play more CityVille with 16.8 million players. That's an astounding number for most Facebook games, but not for Zynga. FarmVille, at its height, held 40% of players. Experts estimate that CityVille could reach 125 million repeat players out of Facebook's available 200 million possible CityVille players. How about you guys? Have you played the game yet?

The Ville I am tending to now is, "MyLifeVille" and CADERS events. I don't have time to tend to something virtual when real life is pressing.

The only reason it gained so many users for a short time was because there was some sort of bonus for playing it for Farmville players. The game itself is crap.
