New Super Mario Bros. 3 (Fan Remake) Gets a Whopper of a Trailer

The internet sure is a vast place. Someone has apparently decided to make a remake of Super Mario Bros. 3 in the style of the new, popular New Super Mario Bros.-series. Apparently, the remake has already been completed, and he has now released a massive 15-minute trailer of the project. Check it out below if that sort of thing tickles your fancy.

@thetonestarr: You sound like it would be an official Nintendo titel. It's just a fan-made game so I guess he did his best creating it.

So the actual game doesn't have any of the suits from the original SMB3. Game needs to be renamed "NSMB Goes Through A Level Editor". Also, not all levels are edited, either. The castle levels are the same.

@sobas Ha! I didn't even have the sound and I knew it (from the info post under the vid :-p ) by the way, this is a hack for emulation... so not entirely legal... yet it's not for $$ so he shouldn't get into much trouble.

Not sure why it claims to be a remake of SMB3... it includes too much from SMB1/The Lost Levels, as well as a lot of new material.

The guy had Worlds 5, 6, and 7 labeled wrong in the video... he presented them in the order of 6, 7 and then 5. Yeah, I know my Mario 3 inside and out, baby!
