Agito, Versus XIII Press Conference Will Feature Surprises

And by that, we don't necessarily mean surprises pertaining to Final Fantasy Agito XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Both titles have been confirmed to be getting actual video footage screened at the event, which will take place in January, and is currently only referred to as "Fabula". But there's more beyond just those two games, according to Square-Enix. Or more specifically, according to Tetsuya Nomura.
His exact words, when speaking of things other than the two aforementioned titles, were, “There are Dissidia characters we will announce at the conference, and we also have a number of other surprises.”
He also said that the reason why the Final Fantasy Versus XIII team have been so quiet is because they've been gearing up for this very conference. That's the reason we didn't hear or see anything at all at E3 about it, and very little at TGS. With any luck, they'll come out guns blazing at this upcoming presser. And let's hope it's been worth the wait - for a long, long wait it has been.
The press conference, "Fabula," is currently set to take place on January 11th, 2011. Mark your calendars.
